The totalitarian Left would, if they could...if they can...control not only what you say...but if you have the right to speak at all.

    'Think' as associated with 'speak.'

    1. "Gallaudet University ( /ˌɡæləˈdɛt/) is a federally chartered university for the education of the deaf and hard of hearing located in Washington, D.C. It was the first school for the advanced education of the deaf and hard of hearing in the world, and is still the only higher education institution in which all programs and services are specifically designed to accommodate deaf and hard of hearing students....The university was named after Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet, a notable figure in the advancement of deaf education."

    a. Abraham Lincoln signed a bill to authorize the purchase of land and buildings for Gallaudet. Next time you're in Washington, check out the Lincoln Memorial: the hands of the statue are the deaf signs for "A" and "L."

    2. As is true of almost every university....this one is Liberal/Leftist/Progressive.... Need proof?

    3. "Gallaudet official suspended for signing anti-same-sex marriage petition

    4. Gallaudet University's diversity officer has been placed on leave for signing a petition to put Maryland's same-sex marriage law on the ballot, The Washington Blade has reported.

    5. Galleudet (sic) president T. Alan Hurwitz said: “It recently came to my attention that Dr. McCaskill has participated in a legislative initiative that some feel is inappropriate for an individual serving as Chief Diversity Officer; however, other individuals feel differently.

[You see, as a Liberal state, Maryland legislators passed a law to redefine marriage...of course, to allow same-sex marriage. People of Maryland claimed that this was too important to leave up to the legislators and demanded that it be placed on a ballot....
...Dr. McCaskill had the unmitigated gall to sign the petition! ....She must have thought that Americans still had that right! ]

    6. McCaskill has worked at Gallaudet for 23 years and was the first deaf African-American woman to earn a Ph.D. from the university, according to her bio on the university's website. She is also on the Board of Trustees of the Maryland School for the Deaf, according to her bio on Gallaudet's website.

    7. Her suspension fits neatly into a narrative that opponents of same-sex marriage are pushing: Approving gay marriage in Maryland will have unintended consequences, and opposition to it in the public square will not be tolerated.

    8. "This is only the latest in a long list of attacks on individuals who express support for marriage as a union between one man and one woman," said Derek McCoy, executive director of the Maryland Marriage Alliance, which is opposing the same-sex marriage law. "If such attacks can be made before same-sex marriage is law, how can homosexual activists in good faith say that religious liberties will not be attacked if Question 6 passes?"

    9. "Everyone is entitled to free speech and to their own opinion about Question 6," Nix said."
