Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) on Tuesday criticized the House GOP tax plan for likely raising taxes on individuals in high-tax states such as New York and California and called for language to repeal the individual mandate to produce more revenue.

Cruz called raising taxes on people in wealthy, staunchly Democratic states such as New York and California "a mistake."

LOL. You can tax the rich more. The middle -class will not get tax cut breaks.
That would take making the 1040EZ form have a 75% min Flat deduction.
No dependent deduction anymore.

SO! The new 1040EZ
Itemized deduction to your Gross income flat rate.
So if you make 60K you get a 75% deduction right off the top.
=45K off = AGI now of 15K here..

Now we have more.
If you own a home. say 1000x12=12K off
If you pay interest on cards. 1K off
All the tax you pay sales, gasoline etc. Say another 2K off
Your AGI is WOW? DANG! ZERO AGI! like the top 25% pay.
