Cost of 13 years of war: $1.6 trillion

Cost of 6 years of Obama = 17 trillion (give or take).
Much of that was expenditures that the Bush Administration failed to put on the books.

6 years later and you're still blaming Bush. The fact of the matter is that Obama spent more money during his first year in office than all the previous Presidents did -- combined!!
The Obama budget deficits originated during the Bush presidency.....

1. Tax cuts 2001-2002 (4 trillion over 10 years)
2. Prescription drug benefits (1 trillion over 10 years)
3. Economic meltdown of 2008 ( 3 trillion and rising)
4. Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan (2 trillion and winding down)

"Obama Has Now Increased Debt More than All Presidents from George Washington Through George H.W. Bush Combined"

Cost of 6 years of Obama = 17 trillion (give or take). That's not to mention all of the embarrassment he's caused us (and cost us).
Mathematically challenged?
90% of our $17 trillion dollar National Debt was created by Reagan and the two Bushes.

Go to reaganbushdebt.org to see the numbers.

Oh ... I see ... Reagan and the Bushes have been in office over the past 6 years. Gotcha!!

The debt was about 10 trillion when Obama took office and is now about 18 trillion. Those are the only numbers I need to see.

They're the only numbers Libs don't WANT to see. I'd ask Chris to please list 10 things Obama has done to reduce or reverse this spending spree. If he/she can't come up with 10 then I'll settle for 1. She/he should be specific and only list significant improvements. .

All that was the war which we now find out was only 1.6 trillion over 13 years. So even assuming for a moment the entire cost of the war occurred under Obama that leaves 15 Trillion to explain?

...- especially the king of deficit spenders, Ronald Reagan. ...

ROFLMNAO!

Now THAT is adorable... it's as if they have no sense of truth.

Oh well... such is the nature of Relativism. It rejects the objectivity that is essential to recognizing truth.

The hard part is shutting them up... do as you will and ya cannot stop 'em from spreading ignorance and deceit.

It will be 23 trillion by the time that asshole is out of our White House.

The cost of obama's green energy policy: $1.2 trillion annually.
Link it. You guys can never do the math.
$8,000 annually against every household as a result of the increase in consumers goods costs because of increased energy costs. 150 million households in the US.
8000 X 150,000,000 = 1.2 trillion.
Link it asshole. As I said, you guys can never do the fucking math.
I just drew it up for you. The $8k was based on my average household's budget. Do your own budget and see for yourself.

"Thirteen years of war have cost the United States roughly $1.6 trillion.

Since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in 2001, the government has spent the money on military operations, base support, weapons maintenance, training of Afghan and Iraq security forces, reconstruction, foreign aid, embassy costs and veterans’ healthcare, according to a recently released report by the Congressional Research Service tracking expenses through September.

The money was distributed to Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation New Dawn, Operation Enduring Freedom for Afghanistan, Operation Noble Eagle and other war-designated funding not directly died to the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, according to the report.

Nearly half of the money spent, $815 billion, went toward the Iraq War, the report said.

About 92 percent of the expenses over the past 13 years came from the Department of Defense.Though U.S. troop levels in the Middle East, especially in Afghanistan, have been on a steady decline, the war funds request for fiscal 2015 remains at $73.5 billion, including $58.1 billion for Afghanistan.

Notably missing from the totals is the request to cover expenses for Operation Inherent Resolve, the airstrikes that began in late August against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.

“There are some indications that the [Defense Department's fiscal 2015] war funding request may be more than is needed in light of [2014's] experience when expenses for returning troops and equipment have proven to be lower and the pace faster than anticipated,” the report said, referring to the cost of the airstrikes against the Islamic State and the recent announcement by Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel that roughly 1,000 groups may remain in Afghanistan until spring 2015."

SO... One obama/Democrat Annual Deficit?

Wow... who would have bet (besides me...) that executing a world war for nearly 15 years would cost a FRACTION (~ 1/6th) of what it costs to simply allow the Left to Control the US Government for say... 6 years?

Huh.
The cost of war is not in dollars and cents. What a war costs fiscally is totially and utterly irrelevent. You doi not fight a war unless you HAVE to and if you have to fight it what does the cost matter? The REAL cost of a war is displayed below:

And this ignores the loss on the other side - civilian loss. A war of 'choice' as was the Iraq war is despicable even if it cost 10 bucks. Bush was a horrible president because of a failed and ignorant ass war we should have never been involved in. That eclipses the piss poor legislation that was passed under him and that was pretty bad in its own right.

Obama's claim to the spot next to Bush at the bottom of the barrel has a lot to do with the reality that he has done nothing but expand our war efforts all over the damn place and now we are back in Iraq because he couldn't finish what was started in the first place. The whole thing is a mess from BOTH of them but to claim that the 'cost' of war is a trillion dollars ignores the real costs of war - both in those caskets and in wheelchairs returning home.

Off the books is a bullshit misnomer. EVERYTHING is 'on the books.' The only real difference is that the monies are not appropriated ahead of time and, instead, doled out as it is needed for what it is needed for. That is how a war should be funded anyway - don't get into the war if you cant afford to actually fight it. At the end of the year those costs are real, recorded and easily visible in the deficit increase/total government spending.

Bush's spending didn't suddenly pop up under Obama. Obama owns what was spent under his administration and he could have changed the policies of Bush.

My favorite 'expense' (even though it is NOT an expense) is the 'Bush' tax cuts. Tax cuts that are actually Obama's tax cuts NOW as he passed their extension early in his term. That is ALWAYS included as a Bush expense when it is CLEARLY Obama's baby now.

Deaths during War under Bush's command, insignificant, one of the greatest Military Victories in the history of War
You're kidding, right?
"The Iraq Body Count project (IBC project), incorporating subsequent reports, has reported that by the end of the major combat phase up to April 30, 2003, 7,419 civilians had been killed, primarily by U.S. air-and-ground forces."
