Last year Biden ran up the debt over two trillion. Looks like this year he is shooting for over three trillion with his out of control spending.

The U.S. national debt is rising by $1 trillion about every 100 days

The debt load of the U.S. is growing at a quicker clip in recent months, increasing about $1 trillion nearly every 100 days.
The nation’s debt permanently crossed over to $34 trillion on Jan. 4, after briefly crossing the mark on Dec. 29, according to data from the U.S. Department of the Treasury. It reached $33 trillion on Sept. 15, 2023, and $32 trillion on June 15, 2023, hitting this accelerated pace. Before that, the $1 trillion move higher from $31 trillion took about eight months.

U.S. debt, which is the amount of money the federal government borrows to cover operating expenses, now stands at nearly $34.4 billion, as of Wednesday. Bank of America investment strategist Michael Hartnett believes the 100-day pattern will remain intact with the move from $34 trillion to $35 trillion.

Trump ran up more debt than any president in a four year term and you're voting for him again. Cult 45 has no valid grievance over debt spending. You're hypocrites.

Know whats awesome?
Both main contenders for 2024 spend like drunken democrats.
Yayyyy us
Trump spent money to rebuild our military after Obama destroyed it and of course on covid relief... Biden spends to rebuild the democrat party and to secure wins for members of his party as well as to open the border and bring in new voters... a lot of difference there...

You are confused about what this thread is about.

This thread is not about Trump's debt. It is about Potatohead's debt.

Over two trillion dollars last year and it will be over three trillion dollars this year. That is addition to the three trillion he ran up his first two years.

Wouldn't you agree with me that anybody that voted for Potatohead with this amount of debt (not to mention all his other failures) is an idiot?

How easily they forget we faced covid and a weak obmaized military to rebuild... Taz me remembers the military yanking parts off one plane to fix another... he just refuses to acknowledge it....

Its sad. Most of the country really doesnt give two shits about our debt as long as its being spent on something they like. Ooooooooooooor when they can bitch about "the other side"

Yeah. It'd be laughable if it weren't so darned destructive.

There's not really a nickel's worth of meaningful difference between em at that level of politics.

These days it seems like the only reason people run for office at that level lof politics is to become millionaires while they hold the working class up at the barrel of a government gun to reward the lobbyists who made them millionaires after they got elected.

Trump spent tax dollars.....
Military...
Covid...
Issis....
Afghanastan...
Iraq...
VA.....

Biden spent tax dollars...
Open borders...
Paying students to register voters...
An unpopular war in Ukraine..,.
Throwing money away on renewable energy...
Money for dems to run on...
Legal fees for Hunter...
Programs to get himself and dems reelected...
Student debt forgiveness to get reelected.....

Politicians trade away our jobs, industries to other countries to line their own pockets. They engage in insider trading. Kickback schemes both at home and abroad using OUR taxpayer money. It's gone to shit.

You are beginning to prove my point.
Didn't take long and I knew it wouldn't.
Your point is the same as it always is: I pretend to be a moderate but I caucus with libtards.

It will take several generations to pay that debt... its not worth worrying over... all we can do is watch....
Your attitude was relevant in the 80's but today people don't ever think we can pay it off so they don't care...

We'll fact check your number after Biden leaves office. Biden might take that title, "Largest 1-term Deficit".
Trump's 1st two years weren't that bad comparatively. Fau-Chi's deadly "Gain-of Function" disaster hurt Trump, so why is Biden spending so much? We should be back to a $4.xT Budget in 2024 now that the interest on the debt is approaching $1T.

Biden's 2023 Budget was $6.13T with a $1.7T deficit = $5.9T in 3-years
Biden's 2022 Budget was $6.27T with a $1.4T deficit
Biden's 2021 Budget was $6.82T with a $2.8T deficit
Trump's 2020 Budget was $6.55T with a $3.1T deficit = $7.5T in 4-years
Trump's 2019 Budget was $6.55T with a $3.1T deficit
Trump's 2018 Budget was $4.10T with a $0.8T deficit
Trump's 2017 Budget was $4.00T with a $0.5T deficit
