It's been a con job since day one. Initial lab tests resulted in tailpipe emissions that exceeded EPA limits. Rather than go back to the lab, EPA standards were re-written to accomidate ETOH.

Yeah bullshit with a capital B.

The technology to refine oil from plants came before Petroleum refining technology.

Ethanol thus has a history of failure of over a 150 years.

Corn Ethanol is a failure, but there are other sources of ethanol that can be sustainable alter fuels for flexfuel vehicals.

I for one have no problem being dependent on foreign oil, just because I am dependent on breathing does not make oxygen evil.

Our problem is we do not exercise our proper authority and force world wide.
