"The Texas Republican senator Ted Cruz called a new highway project “a great bipartisan victory” that will bring “jobs to Texas and millions of dollars to the state” The White House responded: “Senator Cruz voted against this.” A spokesperson for Cruz said the senator “made it possible” – but did not contest that Cruz voted against the $1.5tn spending package which contained the highway project. But Jaime Harrison, chair of the Democratic National Committee, was happy to offer Cruz “a civics lesson”. “When you vote ‘NO’ on legislation it means … wait for it … you DO NOT SUPPORT the bill, therefore you should not take credit for something you didn’t vote for and support.”

Ted Cruz and the Republicans in Congress are the only ones offering good-faith solutions and legislation that focuses on healing the country and investing in our country's infrastructure -- and all the Dems can do is attack them and try to block any bill that invests in "Real America". Yes, Cruz voted against the bill; but that doesn't mean he can't take credit for it if it is beneficial to him to do so....For the Biden admin to try to point out that Cruz voted against the bill is just mean and un-American and basically tells you just how evil Democrats really are....

Did Biden not know that Republicans will take credit for his infrastructure bill even tho they voted against the bill? Most politicians take credit for policies they voted against and tried to stop from passing...you would be insane to not take credit for things you had no part in if it is something that is popular -- and then deflect blame on bills you did pass but are unpopular...for example, if Cruz voted to pass a federal ban on abortions (which is highly unpopular) -- you just blame it on the media or the Dems or claim your vote was taken out of context or something......and then take credit for it when you go on Newsmaxx....duh

Whoever taught you math must not have known it takes a person counting out loud to a trillion over eleven thousand years. 1.5 trillion would take over thirty-one thousand years. Why would a decent human being vote for something that takes forty-six thousand years to pay back? Do tell me, Biff. Doesn't simple math ever persuade you to let something go that you really wanted, but couldn't afford?

Why shouldn't Republicans take some responsibility for the bill? 13 House Republicans voted for it along with 19 Senate Republicans.

Pretty dumb, doll. My edit when I realized my error was a little bit late and missed a detail. My best friend is in the hospital after fainting and being unable to breathe. You know who your friends are if you come close to losing one. Anyhow: Mea maxima culpa!
