Accept defeat with grace
Think of the children you’ll inspire
When they go low to beat you
Take pride that you stayed higher

Strive for better standards
Only do what’s kosher—
For my inspiration…
I prefer Leo Durocher

Ask yourself this question
(And my answer, please infer)
When the duel is over
Are you Hamilton or Burr?

The legislation’s loaded
And it’s pointed at your head
The New Deal isn’t new, it’s old
It isn’t green, it’s red.

They’re coming for you barbeques
They’re coming for your cars
You can move from California
But you’ll have to move to Mars

They’re coming for your daughters and
They’re coming for your sons
They’re coming for your doctors and
They’re coming for your guns

The rules they say they honor
Aren’t rules that you can trust
Fight this thing like Gandhi
And they’ll grind you into dust

Wear your MAGA hat, my friend
Salute the flag and love it
And when they bring up Grantland Rice
Tell them they can shove it

Make sure the world can hear you
When you have a viewpoint, shout it
It’s your right to live a normal life
Be militant about it
