we were all motorheads

and it was easy to do, a dwell tach , timing light & Chilton's manual

off to the races we went......

my personal best was 4 tickets in ONE night

while the 8 track played......

I think I have a picture of one of these some place that I took a couple of years back at one of the car meets.

It was purple and had flames on the hood and down the side.

I sometimes like to go grab smething to eat, maybe have a beer, even though I don't really care for beer, and watch and listen to the country line dancing on Thursdays at the bar around the corner.

Last time I went, there were around five or six of the newer Chargers backed into the lot side by side with just their fog lights on and the dolts were just sitting in their cars looking back and forth at each other.

It was the weirdest thing.

I was a big fan of the Pontiac drive-train including the 421, the 400 and the Turbo-hydromatic 400, built and rebuilt them several times for a number of Gran Prix and Goats, and enjoyed them all.

Yeah. I almost decided on not posting those pictures. I was hesitant about it. Didn't want anyone to get the wrong impression.

But I'm glad that you said that, because that's the gist of why I did. Kind of through the lens of a young person back then, learning to mess around with cool cars when it was cool to do.
