Communist propaganda in the curriculum has become the norm. All textbooks are printed by Communists now. They have taken over the education system nationwide to varying degrees.

When the Bernie kids are old the world will be completely changed. I think it'll all turn out alright, though. Some form of socialism is the ultimate end for humanity. I really don't see another way. It doesn't work right now, but when technology makes human labor irrelevant and creates so much excess that currency starts to become a goofy concept, what other path might we take? It's the logical end game.

I used to be a burger flipper at McD's before the breakfast was introduced. At that time I was making $2.10 an hour part time. I saw this was a no where job so got skills fixing jets. Went to Saudi Arabia for 5 1/2 years making 70,000 dollars tax free, invested heavily, and learned residential and commercial electrician. I understand that liberalism, is all about poverty and misery, that is equality for liberals, and how no one is supposed to know better but feel depressed so they must rely on the government to take care of them. But, what if, when business go automated, there is a demand for people who must fix those automated workers? See a need, fill a need. Be a liberal, remain a poverty stricken liberal. Do you think that demand will offset all of the jobs that will be lost to said automation? Also, how long until the machines are repairing and maintaining themselves? I think machinery will probably get so complex that only AI can do repairs on it. I don't think there's much we are capable of that AI won't be able to do better given enough time.

Ummm.....hello, it's not the 70s anymore. They're still reading, they're just using better, more streamlined, cheaper sources. Those books are very expensive and in many subjects, they are outdated as quickly as they can be printed. For example, when I had textbooks every single book was over $60.00. For one book. ONE.

But yeah, I know, I HAD TEXTBOOKS SO BY GOD SO SHOULD THESE KIDS. Hey I know why don't we just give them slates and chalk

Ummm.....hello, it's not the 70s anymore. They're still reading, they're just using better, more streamlined, cheaper sources. Here's the real problem the OP and others have with these education policies. They just don't like the darkies being reminded of the racial inequalities of our country.

It reminds me of the story about when Johnny Cash performed at a prison, and the Warden asked him not to sing any songs that might remind the inmates they are in a prison.
