Bush Doctrine Declared Dead

I call them as I see them, nb. bush is an international idiot. How did the Chinese communist yet elected Party Chairman describe him? "Unwise to the extreme"?

Don't it scare the hell out of you?

You know it's funny...........but really really not so.............that admittedly he IS an "international idiot", the same as his father and REAGAN who you so boastfully admonish and seem to adore.................and the cluster fuck of a gubment that you say you helped put into place......................that accomplishes nothing and drains this nation like a vampire at blood donation drive and convinces everybody how useless they are on an industrial and manufacturing level while stealing the operations and reorganizing overseas, in the lead up to the official NWO take over................YOU're probably one of the braincramped fucking sellout globalists that profit from your "moderate Demoblican" perch and shit on people that are supposed to be your countrymen while pounding your chest in self righteousness and supposed superior intelligence while stealing the vibrance of our country for personal gain and brain dead selfishness?????????:eusa_whistle:

But by all means correct me if I'm wrong it's just my impression afterall.................I also have a tear in my eye as to all the sellout fucking pukes who call themselves American citizens just to gain advantage........:eusa_drool:

To mis-state or over simplify what the "Bush Doctrine" means is a typical lefty tactic to bash Bush.....manufacture some minor issue, blow it out of proportion, then make a claim so that it seems to prove your original mis-characterization.....

There are so many nonsensical and feebleminded points in the Bush Doctrine, we have so many to choose from... choosing 1 to cover is often difficult.

If you think the welfare of American citizens is more important than it's idiotic figurehead, I propose a coup d'eta!

The Bush Doctrine is far from dead.....
Dude, it died... laid there for 3 or 4 years, then was brought back to life by an evil Necromancer from the fifth dimension, now it stalks the halls of capitol hill as a Mutant Ninja Zombie Doctrine of Terror.

The so-called Bush Doctrine is a much larger, strategy for combating the spread of terrorism, and a willingness to pursue U.S. military interests in a unilateral way.

By unilateral you mean of course to pursue our military interests right across a few million innocent civilians? Yeah, that sounds like sound military strategy. I wonder why the Middle East hates America. Could it be... BECAUSE OUR ACTIONS HAVE CAUSED MILLIONS OF DEATHS, in pursuit of natural resources and a military base here and there?

Minor details in dealing with specific problems and specific nations do not radically alter the general strategy......

The problem is that his entire policy book should be used as firewood, and he should put on his thinking cap and come up with policies that don't screw other countries backwards, and while he was at it, how about some policies that don't cause America to turn into an economic supernova of debt.

From the article: "Thus the president who once insisted that a "Palestinian state will never be created by terror" now insists that a Palestinian state be created regardless of terror." In other words, whoever has the most guns, C4, suicide vests, and homicide bombers, wins. Nice philosophy.

Agree with your interpretation completely. Jacoby’s article ably points out the fact that when good-intentioned people go to Washington and are there for a number of years, they absorb the culture and become as one of the “natives.”

How does Bush reconcile his new fervor to develop a Palestinian state with the Palestinians’ continued determination to rid the world of Israel and the Jews? How does Bush’s support for a Palestinian state jibe with his long-stated goal of working to make the ME a seedbed for democracy when Israel, the only democratic government in the region, would be the main target of the newly created terrorist state?

The Palestinians have never repudiated their use of violent and terrorist tactics against Israel, but what the heck? What’s the problem with establishing another terrorist state in the region???? I guess it can be filed under the topic of searching for a legacy that would appeal to, and be approved by, the secular/socialist/anti-Semite crowd.

I tellya.. nothing says "EXTERMINATE THE JEWS" quite like festering in their own feces after Israel pulls the plug on their food and resources....

Wuzzup, doc?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Long time no see!!!!!!!!

Been travelling PB - home now.

What "middle" are you talking about? As a moderate Democrat that has voted for Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and even George H.W. Bush and also being very passionate about the goings on in the government that I assisted in putting in place I am very much concerned with your nonchalant mention of "middle" as if we might not count. Just what "fallacy" are you talking about?

False dichotomy - the idea of "You are either with us, or you are with the terrorists" - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_dilemma:

false dilemma—also known as false choice, false dichotomy, falsified dilemma, fallacy of the excluded middle, black and white thinking, false correlative, either/or fallacy, and bifurcation—involves a situation in which two alternative statements are held to be the only possible options, when in reality there exists one or more other options which have not been considered

The Bush Doctrine is an abject failure, if it ain't dead then someone should call the vet and have it put down.

Agreed. He just shot his own real legacy.

What legacy would that be. The one that says he lead the nation into a war based on lies and cherry picked data? Or perhaps it is his war against the constitution? Or maybe his legacy will be the fact that this self proclaimed conservative has sold out his nation to mind boggling debt leaving the country in economic shambles.

Sure, bush has a read legacy, huh?

Bully pulpit?

Is my ideology truly unclear to you............ your callousness and sarcasm make you no more right or better than anyone else...................and could serve to nail your own coffin, as to actually communicating what you mean, and who listens................I'll state my positions as I do and of course subject to your chopping block, but fuck your bully pulpit................

You don't know me or mine, obviously. Can you explain your position or are you afraid?

The middle, the moderates of both side, the majority have been marginalized by the right and left extremes for years.

They scream the loudest because that is the nature of the extremist.

We moderates need to raise our voices together and tell them to go to hell.

67% of the people in the country probably fit under the first two standard deviations of the Bell Shaped Curve when it comes to political views.

The 2.5% or far right and left 3rd standard deviates make all the noise.

Yes the middle has been marginalized.
