I'm so sad. I thought he would run, and I know if he had he would win.

Brown is going the Palin way and interviewing for a gig with FOX now.

He had a 50/50 shot of winning. With him gone, it's highly likely the Democrats win the special election and then hold the senate seat in 2014. The Democrats face an unfavorable senate battle in 2014, so that will help them minimize losses (I expect Dems to lose a few seats.)
