Everyone would want to phase out their dependence on oil but it it is not possible. Big windmill blades that kill migratory birds only produce about a 6th of the grid and gigantic ugly solar stuff might offset their cost in manufacturing with haz mat materials to pay back their cost in ten years without ever making a profit.

We need to phase out oil and invest more in renewable sources.
Oil still has a place while we transition.. But essentially a reducing role.
As the world burns you know that many places will become unsustainable. Then you will have a real refugee crisis. But it wont be your fault of course.
