Best musician we lost too soon

Clarence Clemons while not young was a vital part of the E Street Band.

I do want to see The Boss & E Street Band in concert at some point, but I know without the Big Man that it won't be the same.

I'd add SRV to that list. Charlie Parker hasn't been mentioned yet, he died at 34.

Though he was 65, I would have loved to see at least another decade or two of music from Miles Davis. Without him, Jazz will never be the same. He found a way to help define every decade he performed and pave the way for a lot of new music in Jazz.

Also, Duane Allman.

Brian Jones.

Lennon also died young. I also have a strong feeling that if he had lived, The Beatles would have reunited. That would have been worth seeing.

Pigpen.

Keith Moon.

Jim Morrison.

Jaco Pastorius.

So many great musicians lost before their time. Impossible to really choose one when looking at the big picture.
