Here is an article from Politico that makes the same old dry and tired, and bogus, ethics claims about Clarence Thomas.

There are many of these ridiculous articles out there. Now, any time the press attacks some leftist yahoo who happens to be black, they mindlessly jump to calling said attackers racist and white supremacist. Just this week I saw this being done on MSNBC regarding anti-Semite and plagiarist extraordinaire Harvard President Gay. Oh yes, all of the criticism of her Congressional testimony and the fact that she is a fraudulent academic who has broken the ONE BIG RULE OF ACADAMIA (no plagiarism), all of that must be based upon white supremacist racism since she is black. It is her skin color, not that fact that she is garbage human being.
Why does this not cut both ways, I wonder? Between American right wingers vs. left winger, today's left is clearly racist AF, and much, much, MUCH more so than anyone on the right. Hell, the left is openly calling for the destruction of Israel, and by extension, genocide of the Jews (they just do not say it in that way). The is very clearly bigoted against blacks. All they want to do is keep blacks on the public dole rather than raise them up and make them prosperous individuals.
Here is the problem as I see it. The Dems think that every black man out their OWES them their allegiance because of all the "good work" the leftist-prog Dem party has done for them. It's like they are the mafia. Individualism has no value on the left. Group classification is the overriding factor determining who you are.
Clarence Thomas is said to have benefited from Dem policy. If not for Dems, the leftists say he would have turned out a nobody. Some of them even believe this. But, they alone elevated him. Then, after he benefited and made it, he turned on them, just like a devil! And he is doing things that are harmful to his own race (he is not, but that is part of the narrative). How dare Clarence Thomas have his own opinions!!!
This is tribal nonsense. The goal is to elevate people unconditionally so that they can reach their potentials. Trying to undermine and punish people for their political and social views is authoritarian in nature. It is the opposite of freedom and, therefore, the antithesis of America.
But, above all else, if we accept the leftist rules of social hierarchy, their disdain for Justice Thomas is rooted in pure hateful racism. There is NO OTHER EXPLANATION. But it is not the "white supremacist" brand of racism (whatever that is). Rather, it is the racism and bigotry inherent in their tribalism. Our constitutional republic, that ensures the civil rights and liberties of individuals, cannot coexist with tribalism. The two are mutually exclusive.
If the left was honest, it would be on Justice Thomas's side in repelling these attacks as racist. But they are not honest. They apply situational ethics because that is the low-quality brand of human beings that they are.
