Are there any positives at all to attribute to Capitalism?

^^Stupidest post of the day so far:cuckoo::lol:^^

I know that's what exists in your twisted fantasy world, but not in REALITY. Your tired, silly, long since disproven National Socialist diatribe talking points aside, CAPITALISM is obviously what made America great.[...]
Wrong again. It was REGULATED capitalism that made America great. It is de-regulation that is bringing us down.

You are not a competent propagandist. In fact your impotent, offensive contributions are a waste of time and space. So I'm putting you on Ignore with the rest of the belligerent adolescents and angry shit-slingers.

I also get the impression none of you know what communism is or the real reasons it's not a viable system- even though I just explained it to several of you idiots on the last page.

Oh contraire, you babbling blob of bogosity.

Communism is not viable because it goes against the natural self-interest of competent people. The only people who support it are the parasites who cannot compete, and the brainwashed minions of those who wish to be in control of dividing up the spoils.
Who's been advocating communism? :cuckoo:

Stop listening to Fuhrer Beck. The communists aren't coming, the Jews don't really own all the media and control the government, and Jesus isn't coming back in 2012.

OK, so everybody knows that capitalism is evil and promotes wealth redistribution from the many toward the rich......duh.

But does capitalism have a positive aspect? Anything at all?
Ignoramus.

Wealth is earned and accumulated, not distributed.

Wealth is earned? Interesting comment, explain how Paris Hilton 'earned' her wealth? GWB seems to have 'earned' a considerable fortune too. How exactly did he earn his wealth?
Earned implies labor, does it not? Of course great wealth was accumulated by the forebearers who redistributed their wealth to their progeny, Paris and George.

True. Not all wealth is earned. Statistically most of it is, but not all. By earned in this case I would say anything that is not inherited. The other part of it is people have funny ideas about the word 'earned'. I guess I think of labor just like you. But labor is not the only way to make money. In fact, to most of the wealthy who understand money would so working for money is the wrong way to make money. Most would tell it isn't about working hard for money, it's about money working for you.

Humanity cannot afford to allow a free market to exist. History has proven that.

Really?

What has been the market system that's been in existance for the past 10,000 years?

JB is doesn't want to allow a free market to exist. He clearly is unable to compete on his own merits.

Actually, it's because I disapprove of slavery, flaming rivers, mass pollution, and pretty much the entire state of things in the time before regulation.

I get the distinct impression most you don't understand the distinctions between

-the capitalist stage of sociopolitical and economic development within a society
-capitalism as a sociopolitical system
and
-the capitalist mode of production

I also get the impression none of you know what communism is or the real reasons it's not a viable system- even though I just explained it to several of you idiots on the last page.

I get the distinct impression that you're full of shit.

Put up or shut up:

A number of systems have existed in the last 10k years. Get a history book.

Like which one wasn't based on a free market that we "couldn't afford to exist?"

YOU said History has proven it, but you cannot prove it.

:lol::lol::lol:

QED: JB is full of shit.

There has not been a single system in place for 10k years straight, you dolt.

Get a history book. Ask a librarian about mercantilism and trade unionism and the guilds of old, for starters.

What a moron.

It is free markets that enable the progress where society can move beyond slavery and mass pollution.

Why do you think we don't have a free market? Why do you think we have regulations in place?

There's a damned good reason for it.

Again... read a history book.

You do have the choice to go live on one of your freaky little communues and eat boiled acorns until you need a real social structure to come to your rescue.

It's pretty funny to watch somebody try to make the case that Capitism is EVUL while he communicates via technology that is only available to him because of Capitalism.

No, it's healthy markets which are properly regulated to prevent oligopolies and monopolies, prevent abuse, and enable competition within the market.

Of course he does.

And he can try to handcraft a computer out of bark to replace the Evul Capitalist Machine he is currently using.

Feel free to cite any post anywhere on this forum where I have ever at any time rejected the capitalist mode of production.
