OWOSSO, Michigan -- State police at the Corunna post have confirmed a well-known anti-abortion activist was shot multiple times and killed this morning in front of Owosso High School.

The victim's identity has not yet been released but the shooting occurred around 7:30 a.m., after most students were off the buses and safely inside the building, said Owosso schools transportation supervisor Jayne Campbell.

State police also confirmed that a suspect was taken into custody about 8:15 a.m. at the suspect's home.

The victim was described as a well known anti-abortion activist, whether it is also true that the victim was, a 'pro-lifer,' opposed to the capital punishment, euthanasia and held all other pro-life convictions is unclear and seems to me irrelavant. Maybe you can clarify, what is the relavance? Likewise, must all "pro-abortion" supporters embrace the death penalty, euthansia, war and death in any and all forms?

Myself, when my son was in elementary school (he's in college now), some of the whackjobs took their bus and brought it to the school yard. Said bus was plastered with billboard-size graphic bloody ripped apart fetal parts. Absolutely disgusting. These were SCHOOLCHILDREN for Gods sake!

I freaked out about as did many other parents. They were asked to cease and desist, much to the cries of the anti's: WAA!! You're interfering in free speech!

Now, I'll admit, I personally wanted to wring the necks of some of these jerks, as did a number of other people, but NO ONE wanted to shoot the fuckers.

If this guy DID shoot for pro-choice reasons (I highly doubt it) - I would be pleased to see him put into he same damn nut-crunching device Tiller's murderer should be.

people try to equate this murder with Tiller's murder, but there's a big difference. Dr. was killed because he was killing babies. This guy was killed because he was trying to SAVE babies. Huge difference.
