They're so desperate

You're wasting your time with left loons. Hell half of them are getting government benefits, it's not their money. It's yours

Does my military retirement count as a government benefit?

Does my wife's VA salary count as a government benefit?

Actually the BLS gives the average, not the median.

And for the year 2022:

I do not understand why they would be comparing the expenses and expenditures after covid to during the covid pandemic.... Few were driving to work so less gas bought, no one getting star bucks or Dunkin donuts coffee, no one was eating out at night or buying their lunch at work, no one getting face lifts or eye lifts, or traveling or taking vacations, or getting hair cuts or bar hopping, gas prices fell also, due to low demand during covid etc etc etc etc...

It is so DECEIVING to compare what we are spending now, to COVID19 2020 lockdown situation prices???

Family expenses are up over 11K per year since Biden took office. One of those links goes back before Covid, so your point is moot.

LOL. So what? The average us household expenses are up over 11K since Biden took office.

What is the difference between “Average” and “Median” figures?

Average and median are both measures of “central tendency,” in that they are intended to provide some indication of a typical or middle value of a set of data. The average is calculated by adding up all of the individual values and dividing this total by the number of observations. The median is calculated by taking the “middle” value, the value for which half of the observations are larger and half are smaller.
When there is a possibility of extreme values, the median is generally the better measure to use. To see this, suppose that five homes sold in a market with the following prices: $80,000, $90,000, $100,000, $110,000 and $500,000. The median price is $100,000, while the average price is (80,000 + 90,000 + 100,000 + 110,000 + 500,000) / 5 = $176,000. In this instance, the single high-priced home pulled up the average price well above the prices of the more typical homes in the market. Thus, the median price provides a better measure of the typical value of a home.

Prove it is true! How did they come to their number? Let's see the numbers?

Are they comparing after covid vs during covid which is deceitful,

or after covid vs 2019, before covid?
It came from the Congressional Joint Economic Committee. CBS is reporting it. So prove Fox is lying.

LOL. You can slice and dice the numbers and definitions all you want, it still comes up the same. The cost of living under Biden is up considerably since Biden took office. Are you a fact denier?

That is what happens when you shut down society and stop or greatly reduce the production of goods.
