That's not true. We are paying out enormous taxes. What is down isn't taxes, it's revenue. With fewer people working, less overall taxes are being paid so democrats can say "See taxes are down". That's what democrats have never been able to understand. They firmly believe that the way to increase revenue is to increase taxes, when the reverse is true.
