Your solution is to treat everyone as a bad guy. Except of course government actors and the powerful who will do what they want no matter what laws we pass.

. They are seriously lazy when it comes to solving the situations, and they are greedy too.. It is why they always get it wrong.

it's not lazy, its being naive. They think by somehow stopping me from getting anything more than a popgun, it will prevent someone with criminal intent from getting a gun they find scary.
