Oh she is a naturally beauty beyond a doubt. I admire her for many reasons. She has heralded "natural' after shirking off her years with Ted.

But the Vietnam days will always haunt her.

Seems like it haunts the Right a lot more.

No for true. Jane has ghosts. I understand her Nam years and how Tom abused her. Oh geeze louise. I can go off on that. Oh boy I can go off on that and how he was horrid to her.

Life is a long story with many chapters Syn. Jane has a novel like most of us do.

Jane Fonda was right about Vietnam, the rightwing warmongers were not

Full life? As the daughter of a famous actor she never had to struggle for an acting job. She won an oscar for her part as a prostitute in a crappy forgettable movie as payback for her left wing political activism and she made a couple of exercise videos for pocket change.

was married to Ted turner...
That would have been a negative for receiving the award because Ted Turner was a Conservative.

But she divorced him so it doesn't count against her. ..

Ted's a conservative?

:lmao:

For starters he's a mega athiest. You really need to sharpen the knives in your drawer dear heart.

What does atheism have to do with conservative or liberal? Or for that matter, with Democrat? The Democratic party once had southern conservatives locked up.

How do you even know or care what his religion is anyway?

And what have you done lately, whitehall?

But the Vietnam days will always haunt her.

Jane Fonda was right about Vietnam, the rightwing warmongers were not

Even you cant be that low.

She didn't simply protest the war - she visited the enemy. Participated in radio broadcasts against our forces and lied about POW's claiming that they were certainly not abused.

She is a damn traitor and should not be heralded or given awards. It is sickening.

Jane Fonda's actions did not lead to any American deaths. In fact they helped to get us out of VietNam by turning the will of the people against it

Meanwhile, the warmongers trumped up the Gulf of Tonkin incident, Contimually escallated the war with promises that we would be home by Christmas and led to the unnecessary deaths of 60,000 Americans..........ALL while wrapping themselves in the flag and questioning the patriotism of those who opposed them
