Would you agree that harmony can only exist in a balanced state? In other words, we need equal amounts of good and bad, black & white, love & hate, etc.?

If you can agree to that concept, it makes it eaiser to find harmony, and accept those things we disagree with.

An equal balance of everything...

Rich and poor....educated and uneducated, developed and undeveloped. Those that have everything and those who have nothing... i agree.

Sorry but your wit blade swings both ways.

Good plan. You accept that conservatism is better for America than liberalism. Glad we got that cleared up. I look forward to you accepting conservative policy from now on.

No, harmony can be discordant, unbalanced.

You serious?

Thats not human nature, nor will it ever be.

I suppose you could terrorize or brainwash society into being obedient, see; Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Hitler etc or any dictator for that matter, however those societies lacked a fundamental all humans strive for and thats freedom..

Utopia is bullshit - it will never happen - especially with emotional crazies running around with their opinions acting like their opinions are the only ones worthy of consideration....

Shit, you got 7.5 billion people in this world with 7.5 billion ideas as to what a utopia actually is... This is why we have the Constitution and more specifically, the Bill of Rights in the US........ Its a standard, it eliminates - or allegedly (in present times) authoritarian ideas, however the Constitution and Bill of Rights is also like pissing in the wind to those who believe authoritarian Orwellian ideas are the way to go to create the "perfect utopian society."

See that fool H.G Wells - he just never got it...

Its amazing how brilliant some people can be but how stupid, er out of touch with reality they are (H.G Wells).

What does "harmony" actually mean in relation to this question?

It certainly does not mean PEACE or JUSTICE as you've just described it.

More like possibly create a black hole that could potentially swallow our solar system and beyond.

The particle accelerator is blatant arrogance on behalf of the physics community.
