He has consistently refused to set an example for the people in following the guidelines, downplayed the seriousness of the virus, questioned whether the guidelines are appropriate, and has even said it's up the individual as to whether they want follow the guidelines. Well, I think we all know what would not happen with either Obama or Biden. Neither would have called it just the common Flu and downplayed it's seriousness, told the public that following CDC guidelines was an individual choice, and encouraged the states to open up the economy when the president's medical advisors as well as most medical authorities were all waving the yellow flag. Some people say Trump did not provide the country leadership. I disagree he lead the country to become number one in deaths, number number 1 in positive cases, and an economic disaster that few countries have match. US unemployment stands at 11.1% compared to the EU with 7.4%, China with 5.7%, South Korea with 4.3%, Japan with 2.6%, Australia with 7.1%, etc... What Trump failed to realize is controlling the epidemic is critical to fixing the economy.
