No. The US needs mire charities like this. One’s that look at the hows and why’s of a persons needs before deciding whether to help or not. Well moron, the government pays out unemployment to people who recently lost a job. It is not paid to people who are not looking for work or have stayed unemployed for long periods of time. Also, just quitting because you don't want to work is not a reason to pay a person.

It has been demonstrated that places with more economic freedom, thus more money on hand, are more likely to be charitable with that money. No theft required.
