Today the temperature reached 64F, according to my car. Gorgeous day!

So, I headed out and about. I had only a few more miles before my car was officially broken in, so I headed south to Mount Vernon via the Gee-Dub Parkway. That goes along the Potomac and is a lovely drive. I passed the 1500 mile break-in early on my car and was finally able to drive it like a maniac, and I had fun! Windows open, roof open, and music playing. Life is sweet.

Then I headed down to Quantico to go to the USMC Museum. I highly recommend that as a stop for those visiting the DC area.

I suck at taking pictures and these are from my Blackberry. I spent close to three hours there and still wanted to stay longer, but I had to get back for a dinner appointment.

That is only about an hour and 15 minute drive from where I live.

Temp is warming up and I cannot wait for the low to mid 70's. Trees in bloom...man I have been suffering from cabin fever.

Glad you got out!

What kind of car did you buy?

We had a beautiful weekend in Denver, inspiring me to walk to breakfast, but expecting more snow this week.

Sorry about your forecast. Please keep that snow there, where it belongs?

A 2009 MINI Cooper, yellow. I can park anywhere and it's a blast. I always enjoyed driving go-carts as a kid.

I'll keep that in mind next time I head up that way. I pass it every time we go up there. Suppose to head up that way maybe the first week in April.

12 hour shift? That sucks
