I'm trying to figure out how a fire that is currently believed to perhaps be due to renovations at Notre Dame could lead to a fire at a Mosque in Jerusalem at the same time.

For all I know, based on the article in the OP, the mosque fire might have begun before the Notre Dame fire.

So two fires happening simultaneously, one possibly due to some sort of accident from renovations being done, the other possibly due to the actions of children, and you are going to somehow link it to an attack by Islam on a church, followed by retribution by....I don't know who?
