Last year a moose came right up to the window at work. if I wanted rain and traffic, I’d live on the west side. A day’s ride to Yellowstone, I love that park, we go almost every year. We have a nice theme park nearby, that is cool. Broadway plays, theatre, several major colleges nearby, no traffic, I have it all here, why would I want to live in an area that lives on stress.

Sounds good but being close the beach is a huge plus.
I live few blocks from the most famous beach in LA county to the right Malibu, to the left Venice beach...downtown LA 30 mins., universal studios 30 mins, Disney 45 mins, ski slopes 1h30, 15 mins to the 2nd busiest airport in the US to cat h flights and explore the world, tons of Marinas for boating, 3 hours to Mexico, year around sunshine, Lakers arena 25 mins, Dodgers stadium 45 mins.
As a little boy overseas we all knew that California is the best state. All I know about Idaho is potatoes and lot of conservatives which translates we minorities are not welcomed that much and there isnt much to do there or prosper like in blue states.

California is a shithole. I’d take Idaho any day over Cally.

There is more to any state than "just..." California is one of 50 states, it is no better or worse than any other state, Idaho is no better or worse than California. There are things to like about Idaho, and California.

Wrong, the majority of deaths in the Civil War were combat deaths and deaths due to injuries and disease......in gun free Europe....they were murdered by their governments...12 million innocent men, women and children, non-combatants, selected out, and murdered........

Do you understand that they were military targets in a war....while the 12 million innocent men, women and children were sent to death camps and murdered, or murdered in their towns and villages? Do you comprehend the difference....you mope?

What I do care about is liberty. I have the right to protect myself and my family with the best tools available. That tool is a firearm.

Very sad that part of your life is consumed by fear of dying you and your family and how to protect yourself. You live in fest and paranoia.

I'm not afraid of dying because if anyone tries to kill me I'll be able to fight back.

No, that isn't how it goes down. Those who commit murder are not normal people who "snap." 90% of those who commit murder have long histories of crime and violence going back to their teenage years. Of those murders that happen in families with guns, the majority of them are criminals with long histories of crime and violence, living the lifestyle of criminals with the addition of drug and alcohol abuse...
