Prior to the meltdown at the end of President Bushes final term the price for a gallon of gas was arround $3.50. During the meltdown prices dropped and as the economy started to move so did gas prices.

It wasn't just Obama. Congress just did away with the tax cut at the pump & reduced gasolines competition on January 1, 2012. That is the reason gas prices stopped falling, suddenly spiked & have been rising every since. Enjoy the higher gas prices! Congress & Obama hates the poor!!!

The Transboundary Agreement, as it is called, will make up to 1.5 million acres of offshore territory claimed by the United States available for leasing as early as June, though the leases will not become active until a pact is ratified. Russia is already partnering up in Venezuela to give Chavez "nuclear power plant technology," and a Russian base is being built in Venezuela to make sure the United States is screwed when our adversaries circle us like mad dogs.
