AWDNews - Saudi foreign minister we must denounce our hatred toward Israel and begin normalize ties with Jewish nation

"Speaking on the sidelines of the world assembly of Islamic scholars in Jeddh, Saud bin Faisal Al Saud said that the Middle-East needs peace and co-existence more than ever and Saudi Arabia as a leading Islamic country is ready to make sacrifices in peace negations and encourages President Abbas to follow the same policy.
Referring to the ongoing war in Gaza strip, the Saudi foreign Minster stressed that Hamas authority is the sole responsible for Palestinian calamity and they must brought before the law.

The Saudi official further added that Arab World Increasingly Frustrated With Hamas which is seeking more wars.

In recent day Israel’s air-strikes against Gaza Strip drew many condemnations from the Arab oil-rich states of the Persian Gulf, while Saudi media is increasingly open in criticizing defiant Hamas for resisting Israeli aggression against impoverished Palestinian enclave.

Media in Saudi Arabia and Egypt blame Hamas’ actions for Israeli war and prioritizing conflict over the safety of the Gazan population and criticized the leadership for waging war far from the conflict, a Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) report shows.

After Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal criticized Arab inaction in Gaza, Saudi Al- okaz daily columnists responded emphatically.

“[Meshaal], we are tired of defending the [Palestinian] cause that you have sold for cheap to an MB (Muslim Brotherhood) gang whose way you followed even though they have lost their [own] way,” wrote columnist Abdul-Hamdi Razaq. He also called Meshaal out for living in luxurious Qatari hotels instead of fighting in Gaza."

Good catch!

I wonder how long it will take for everyone here at USMB to get the news and understand it.

"Hamas authority is the sole responsible for Palestinian calamity and they must brought before the law."

WOW!

Thrown UNDER the bus by other Arab/Muslim leaders in the region, especially one from Saudi Arabia!

Oh, snap!

The 3rd in command in Saudi Arabia urges acceptance of, cooperation with Israel.

That's reason for hope!

Unless he's just trying to keep Americans hopeful, beyond reason, that Saudi Arabia might become a center of Islamic moderation.

It would go a long way to offsetting criticism that Muslims are racists against Jews.

Mojo2, et al,

Yes, this gradual shift is important. And in the Middle East --- Persian Gulf Region, HM The King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, carries much more influence than the US.

While this may actually sound wrong, the suggest Alliance uniting all the Arab states (except Qatar) together with Israel --- against terrorism and the adverse influences of the US --- may actually be a good thing.

SAUDI KING PUBLICALLY BLAMES HAMAS FOR GAZA WAR said:
In the harshest words ever used by a Saudi King to condemn any Palestinian “resistance” to what is routinely called “Zionist aggression,” King Abdullah’s statement said, “It is shameful and disgraceful that these terrorists are doing this in the name of religion, killing the people whose killing Allah has forbidden, and mutilating their bodies and feeling proud in publishing this.”

The king went on to say of Hamas’ war against Israel, “They have distorted the image of Islam with its purity and humanity and smeared it with all sorts of bad qualities by their actions, injustice and crimes.”

This is encouraging, yes it is. But we must listen carefully. This change came about gradually, but could evaporate in an instant.

SAUDI FOREIGN MINISTER: TIME FOR ISLAMIC WORLD TO RECOGNIZE ISRAEL said:
Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister said that now is the time to recognize Israel as a legitimate entity in the Middle East, stressing that the Palestinian arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, terror group Hamas, is responsible for fanning the flames of war between Israelis and Palestinians.

Speaking at the world assembly of Islamic scholars in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Saud bin Faisal Al Saud reiterated that the Arab world must also reject Hamas as the representatives of the Palestinian movement, AWDnews reports.

Saudi media has consistently been against Hamas in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, according to the Middle East Media Research Institute. “[Meshaal], we are tired of defending the [Palestinian] cause that you have sold for cheap to an MB (Muslim Brotherhood) gang whose way you followed even though they have lost their [own] way,” Saudi commentator Abdul Hamdi Razaq recently wrote in a scathing rebuke of Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal.

In March, Saudi Arabia designated the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. Some insist the designation had more to do with differing views on Sunni Islam than with the actual threat level posed by the Muslim Brotherhood.

This week, Saudi King Abdullah blamed Hamas for the 50-day war between the terror entity and the State of Israel. Abdullah said: “It is shameful and disgraceful that these terrorists [Hamas] are doing this in the name of religion, killing the people, whose killing Allah has forbidden, and mutilating their bodies, and feeling proud in publishing this. They have distorted the image of Islam with its purity and humanity and smeared it with all sorts of bad qualities by their actions, injustice, and crimes.”

There are several Arab States that are very concerned with the outcomes of the "Arab Spring" and the development of organizations like the Islamic State (formerly ISIS). BUT what I find most intriguing and exciting is the way in which HM King Abdullah refers to the Muslim Brotherhood and HAMAS as "terrorists" (as it is reported initially from AWDnews reports). This is, indeed, something to consider. While HM did not speak kindly of the US, that is relatively unimportant by comparison to the more influential Arab Leaders that might stand-up in an alliance with Israel. That is a very positive step.

Okay, here is some waaaay outside the box thinking.

In recent days I have sensed a strange reaction to accusations of racism against Muslims.

There aren't any outward signs I can point to, but whenever non-Muslims accuse Muslims of being racists they demure somewhat and they don't come back with one of their 'patented' pre-processed talking points replies.

This has gone on for weeks.

I believe there IS no suitable reply which doesn't demean islam and Muslims in the eyes of non-Muslims.

Therefore, I wonder if the powers that be have decided to completely divorce themselves from their crazies.

Maybe this might be that separation of the modernist, mainstream, moderate Muslims from the racist degenerates in Palestine.

But for what purpose?

We know the Koran still commands the faithful to make Islam the #1 religion and system of government for the entire world.

We suspect the unanswerable charges of racism could very well become a fatal flaw in their plans for conquest. After all, who wants to submit to Nazis or KKK members?

Without that albatross of anti-Semitism to contend with the path ahead for the Jihadi is made much easier to travel.

I wonder if the Saudis are throwing the Hamasholes under the bus so that Islam might enjoy better press.

And with that an easier path to world conquest?

Closed system thinking.

Okay, here is some waaaay outside the box thinking. In recent days I have sensed a strange reaction to accusations of racism against Muslims. (COMMENT)

There is no real (enlightened) reason to demean Islam either as a faith or as a philosophy. It is totally unnecessary. But that is not to say that fanatical interpretations of Islam are not without deserved criticism. As an outside observer, one can see some of the drawbacks to the fanatical interpretations of any religious belief system. It doesn't mean that any religious belief system is beyond respectful debate, or out of range with questions on the basic concepts embedded in each belief system. It is all part of the learning process.

Therefore, I wonder if the powers that be have decided to completely divorce themselves from their crazies.

Maybe this might be that separation of the modernist, mainstream, moderate Muslims from the racist degenerates in Palestine.

But for what purpose?
(COMMENT)

Any belief system that is taken to its extreme limits can be harmful to the society or culture to which it is normally practiced. Thus, those that subscribe to any particular belief system, may want to protect the integrity of that system by separating extremist views that are harmful of degrade that system of belief.

I wonder if the Saudis are throwing the Hamasholes under the bus so that Islam might enjoy better press.

And with that an easier path to world conquest?
(COMMENT)

It is possible. But it is more likely (principle states that one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed) that there is a backlash developing, within the mainstream of the belief system, that recognizes that extremism is not enlightened --- but actually harmful; and is moving towards self correction.

(THOUGHT EXPERIMENT --- EPILOG)

To be inside the box, means to be in the dark in many respects. Imagine being inside a huge box where all six side of the interior are the reflective surface side of a two-way mirror (like an interrogation room). Standing on the inside of the box with a flashlight; what do you see when in the darkened mirrored box you turn the flashlight on? Then imagine what the outside observer sees when viewing your enclosed system.

Thinking outside the box is not always a bad perspective to hold when addressing extremist views within a closed system.

They just may find Israel as a suitable ally against their rival Qatar.

No friendship and flowers, but a positive development.

I was with you till the "moderated Islam". Saudi Arabia is still very radical and opresses women. don't forget their rediculous laws.

The two camps are of Iran-Qatar-Turkey Vs. Saudi-Egypt-Israel.

An interesting thing, I believe.
