$20,000,000,000,000.00 Decit...What is Hillary's Plan to REDUCE it?

Corporations are leaving either way. You've noticed that right? They get tax cuts for sending jobs overseas. You can blame republicans for that. Also, you clearly have no idea how bloated our defense budget actually is.

Corporate taxes in the United States at a rate higher than other countries overseas, is the reason why businesses leave. Unfortunately liberals don't understand the global market and think only in terms of raising more taxes. Yet not one of them would even tell you how democrats can encourage business to come and build HERE in order to create more job opportunities.

I think that Trump will add jobs. I sent him a resume for being his agent to third world countries for establishing plants to manufacture his products. I've always wanted to see the Far East....

Except for the fact Hillary Clinton supports more H-1B visas. Which means you may have to look elsewhere for work when corporations thank Mrs Clinton for the ability to use foreign employees in place of American workers.

Thank you so much for your concern about my losing my job picking grapes, but you need not worry. I am retired from the insurance and financial industries..

I know you liberals are really not that well informed, so let me help you be a little more up to date with "current" events.

Oh no! You mean that an American company is maximizing their profits for the benefits of their shareholders?! Who would have thought that would happen in the land of Free Enterprise! Maybe Caterpillar should run their company for the benefit of their employees? Well, I guess they could do that. That is the way it is done in socialist countries. But, I got to tell ya, BigGov, you really need to decide whether or not you want to live in a capitalistic country or a socialistic country....

America has had socialism since the Constitution was ratified. (whatever socialism is?)

Once again, the LAWs allowing Off-Shoring to be a Write-Off AND Profitable are due to OUR Representatives despite the deleterious effects of such actions.

SO...
Either our Representatives are COMPLETE idiots OR they are able to run for office because these companies are contributing to their VERY expensive campaigns.

I heard that Neo-Con straw man from McConnell when Obama first took office, "The last thing we need is more legislation when legislation caused the problem.".
Yeah, the legislation allowing write-offs for moving anywhere in the world.
Protecting America's interests is the job of our Representatives.

Now, Indi, that is downright un neighborly!

If I don't take your arguments as seriously as you would like, it is because your arguments are simplistic in a global economy.

For example. Microsoft, GE, and thousands of other companies keep trillions of dollars offshore, to avoid paying US taxes. Do you want a law to force Microsoft to bring all that money back to the USA to be taxed? Well, they would argue that they MADE that money selling products in China, so why should it be brought here? Because they are a USA company? Not really. Their headquarters are here, but they are owned by stockholders all over the world. Make them bring it back to the USA because their headquarters is here? Well, take a look at Chrysler. they sold themselves to Fiat, and are shutting down their last plants in the USA.By next year, if you want to write Chysler, you might as well stock up on Italian postage stamps.

I hear a lot of problems, but very few practical solutions. From Trump, all I hear is populous garbled talking points of totally impossible concepts.

You produce a product for the US?
You produce that product in the US using US Citizens paying US taxes and you use US Customer Service.

You produce a product for India?
You produce that product in India using India's Citizens paying India's taxes and you use Indian Customer Service.

Fuck the back-stabbing, old fart stock holders who aren't going to pull out of the market anyway.

Kapish or too complicated for one suffering from avarice?

if you look carefully at Microsoft 10, you will discover that it has a menu to translate the entire operating system to whatever the hell they speak in India. In short, one product is sold in English speaking countries, and India as well.

You live in a global village, Indi. It is not my doing. Either you will get with the program, or you will be asking, "Do you want fries with that?".

LOL --- aren't you 'special'?

Run to Wikipedia, get a list, and slap it out here to supposedly validate a fallacious argument. Don't read it - don't research it - just slap it out there and hope nobody actually looks at it.

Of course, you failed to notice that some of those "bases" were actually family housing areas (when not collocated with mission functions, they are given separate names), others were supply depots (diffusion of supply and support assets makes it more difficult to cripple your active units), most of those are German bases on which we have a military presence, and some were even scheduled for closure. And, I'm pretty damn sure you're not aware that the most likely point of invasion into Europe is thru the Fulda Gap in --- oh yea - Germany.

Surely, you can do better than that.

How ya doing on those tank deployment figures?

Speaking of "not reading the link", apparently you missed the part at the bottom where they said that the large number of bases were no longer needed because the cold war with Russia was over, and that some where scheduled to be closed (four, to be exact). As for me, I don't see any particular reason why we need any more army bases in Germany today, than we did in 1938, which was "None". As for housing units and supply depots, I suspect that if we had no personnel in Germany, they would not need housing or supplies, either. See how that works?
Well, I'm certainly glad you're not responsible for making provisioning and placement decisions for DoD. That kind of ignorance will get people killed.

Actually, I get a lot of my inspiration from my cousin, who retired as a full colonel. He has told me for decades that the military structure is such that if there is no war going on, they will do their best to start one. Makes for great promotions, advancement and budgets. Of course, this is no news to me, having seen what the geared up war machine is capable of in the Vietnam era. We reined them in, to a certain extent by taking away the draft. Too bad we have yet to take away their checkbooks.

As for my getting people killed for DoD, I think that you may have me confused with Robert McNamara.

Frankly, I don't believe you .... the fiction about your supposed cousin is so foreign to an experienced military member, and so diverted from reality, it simply is unbelievable.

As for the Vietnam era - you truly don't even realize how many soldiers you got killed, do you? You don't realize the damage done by your irresponsible and ignorant actions, do you? You need to take a serious course on the Vietnam War. Your ignorance is appalling.

The blood is on your hands.
60,000 American soldiers died for no reason

Bullshit .. but, hey, it's your bullshit.

So you are completely fine with piracy as well, apparently, since they are only trying to maximize the profits of their share holders as well.

Look, you fucking goofball, there are laws in place to limit the actions a business can take to maximize their profits.

For example they cannot buy slaves or indentured servants. They have to obey the OHSA laws and EPA laws, etc.

They also have to comply with US employment laws and if they dont, then seize their property, sell it off at auction and throw the executives into hard time prisons so that they learn a little respect for working men in this country, the asinine shit4brains.

They crawled to the Paris Peace Treaty negotiations, and South Vietnam would still be free today IF THE DEMOCRATS HAD NOT CUT THEIR MILITARY FUNDING like the shit bags that they are.

Nothing decreases the debt more then
-Not getting into a major war with iran.
-No major nation building in iraq...Which you republicans cost this nation 5 trillion dollars to do(Trumps words).
-Repairing our healthcare system...1/3rd of our national debt is caused by this alone. No nation on earth blows more money on healthcare for shitty results. Time for universal healthcare.
-Causing a recession or even a depression. Takes huge amounts of money to fight out of one of these. Thanks republicans.

Republicans needs to stop talking as they're the causers of this mess.

Maybe you can explain to the world just how our healthcare system has created one third of our national debt. If you could, maybe you could demonstrate that by year.

But, I got to tell ya, BigGov, you really need to decide whether or not you want to live in a capitalistic country or a socialistic country....

I don't think Vandalshandle has rasped the difference, let me give you a clear example. If I were to want a socialist government, I'd allow Washington DC to dictate and force a car company into what kind of vehicle they are going to build rather then allow the consumer market of supply and demand. Much like the Chevy Volt decision that never met it's production goals and sat in the inventory lot, because an administration thought they were the better CEO. We can see how a more socialist form of government was proven successful. Meanwhile Ford did rather well understanding what kind of market they faced in making a decision based on what consumers really needed. This resulted in their ability to create a profit based on what the consumers were in demand for, without government intrusion. So the company expanded, overseas where the cost of building and maintaining a business was less of a tax burden. You can make this nation more marketable for American jobs if your policies reflected a need for them to build and manufacture here. Certain individuals haven't quite figured that out yet.

I first voted in 1952....voted for Eisenhower. I can't believe the Republican party has ended up with a rich, spoiled ass hole running on their ticket.

If you are voting for Clinton and voted for Kerry and Gore you have no credibility

It really doesn't make any difference who I vote for in national elections.......Tennessee is so full of red necks that all eleven electoral votes go to the Republicans.

You dumb bastard. The United States has active duty military troops stationed in 150 countries. What the hell do you think this is...another Roman empire?

Hillary Clinton on the issues

All tried and failed.
No tariffs to diminish the profits gained by leaving America.
Job training but not forcing companies in any way whatever to hire Americans.
Raising taxes on the rich...so they'll leave the US even sooner.

Somebody please explain to me how all of a sudden Directors and CEOs are going to be MOVED by these programs to all of a sudden love Americans and make America prosper.
The deficit isn't 20 trillion. The debt is.

Facts. Doy!

I stand corrected.
It's been a LOOOOOOOOOONG day.
Now please explain how Hillary's plan will reduce or eliminate it.
No one is claiming she can eliminate it. She can reduce it by cutting defense spending and closing corporate tax loopholes.

They've apparently forgotten that Bill Clinton handed George W. Bush a balanced budget with surpluses projected to the out years and the first thing he did was start working on two tax cuts for the rich. Then he methodically doubled the national debt from $5.7 trillion to nearly $12 trillion. A real smart guy.....NOT!!!

They crawled to the Paris Peace Treaty negotiations, and South Vietnam would still be free today IF THE DEMOCRATS HAD NOT CUT THEIR MILITARY FUNDING like the shit bags that they are.

You dumb bastard. The United States has active duty military troops stationed in 150 countries. What the hell do you think this is...another Roman empire?

Non sequitor, jack ass.

Well, I don't know, Indi. I'm still stuck on why ShaklesOfBigGov wants an even bigger government to make what Caterpillar is doing illegal. I'm beginning to think that he is a commie!
I heard that Neo-Con straw man from McConnell when Obama first took office, "The last thing we need is more legislation when legislation caused the problem.".
Yeah, the legislation allowing write-offs for moving anywhere in the world.
Protecting America's interests is the job of our Representatives.

You really have become quite a greedy pig.

Well, take a look at Chrysler. they sold themselves to Fiat, and are shutting down their last plants in the USA.

I hear a lot of problems, but very few practical solutions.

Here's my position...

Windows 10 sucks.
The response of millions of people is Apple.
