Israel is a liberal democracy, the rights of minorities are protected by law, just as they are in most European countries and in the US so of course it is an egalitarian society, however none of Israel's enemies are, not the Palestinians, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran or Yemen, or you, for that matter.
