In 1948 they forced 600,000 Palestinians to leave and allowed 150,000 to remain.
These were displaced persons and nearly all wars produce displaced persons; some were forced to leave, and some chose to leave, but when UN 194 passed Israel accepted it and invited all the Arabs who had left and were now willing to live in peace in Israel to return, but that meant recognizing the jurisdiction of the new state of Israel, and none applied to return under those conditions.

So even after the Arabs' failed attempt to eradicate the Jews, the new state of Israel extended its hand in friendship to those Arabs but their hatred of Jews was so strong they preferred to lose everything they had rather than live in peace with Jews.

As Abba Eban once said, "The Arabs never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity."

And as Golda Meir said when asked when there would be peace, "Peace will come when the Arabs love their children more than they hate us."

Israel is a liberal democracy, the rights of minorities are protected by law, just as they are in most European countries and in the US so of course it is an egalitarian society, however none of Israel's enemies are, not the Palestinians, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran or Yemen, or you, for that matter.

In 1947-48 Israel expelled 600,000 Palestinians . They allowed 150,00 to stay and shot anyone who tried to return to their homes. In 1947-48 they looted and leveled over 300 Arab villages.

Shame on Golde Meir. She's the one who told Nixon they would bomb the Americans in Dhahran if he didn't resupply Israel's war machine.

In 1947-48 the Zionists destroyed over 300 Arab villages.

Of course, that never happened, but then virtually nothing you post has any basis in fact.

They tried to return to their homes, orchards and farms. The Israelis shot them.

Israel calls itself a liberal democracy because it lies all the time, it defies logic by asserting false claims all the time.

Its founding documents afford Jews a special privilege in that "Jew" and "Jews" are used to define basic laws and so on.

Here look:

1.b - The State of Israel is the nation state of the Jewish People in which it realizes its natural, cultural, religious and historical right to self-determination.
1.c - The realization of the right to national self determination in the State of Israel is exclusive to the Jewish People.
5. - The State shall be open to Jewish immigration, and the in gathering of the exiles.
6.b - The State shall act in the Diaspora, to strengthen the affinity between the State and members of the Jewish People.
7. - The State views the development of Jewish settlement as a national value, and shall act to encourage and promote its establishment and consolidation.
So give it a rest, don't piss down my neck then tell me its raining.

In fact, you have no idea who they were or why they were trying to infiltrate Israel or why they were shot, but since Israel had invited those Arabs who had left but were willing to live in peace in Israel to return, if they were willing to live in peace in Israel there would have been no reason to try to sneak across the borders.

In post after post you continue to show that the Arabs have been the authors of all sufferings.

Clearly, Israel is a liberal democracy since all citizens of Israel have equal rights under the law.

That's absolutely correct. Idiots (and I used that term broadly) think that things are described by their text book definition. Gosh, that's OK but they are ignoring the situation "as it is". They are squawking on about what Zionism was meant to be ..... not what it is. Idiots, fool, brainless twits all of them. Palestinians (as is pointed out in the above quote) will tell you the truth. Isn’t that what we honest people crave ….. the truth?

US donors are also paying $14 million in compensation for Jewish farmers who are leaving behind Gaza greenhouses that will be taken over by the Palestinians. The money was raised by James D. Wolfensohn, former World Bank president and the Bush administration's current Middle East envoy, who is donating $500,000 of his own money.

What will happen to the existing houses and infrastructure?

Israel has decided to destroy houses, schools, and synagogues in Gaza, but leave behind major infrastructure such as electricity, pipes, and roads.

Yes, it goes on every day and has foo almost a hundred years. The general public have been indoctrinated, lied to and manipulated by the Zionist lobby. The US government has been manipulated and indoctrinated by the Zionist lobby.

Clearly that's a lie a blatant untruthful claim, look this is LAW it is basic law 1.c - official text:
The realization of the right to national self determination in the State of Israel is exclusive to the Jewish People.
That "right" is exclusive to "Jewish" people - can't you read?

What will you argue next? that 2 + 3 = 238?

Again, all Israeli citizens have equal rights under the law. Do you really need someone to explain to you what the word, law, means?

That's BS. They destroyed over 300 Arab villages.. in 1967 they destroyed over 70 Druze villages in the Golan heights.

They really are no better than Nazis.

A majority of the Jewish settlers have accepted a compensation package from the government in return for leaving Gaza.

An average family can expect to receive the equivalent of $150,000 to $400,000 in compensation, depending on house size, the number of children and length of residence in the occupied territories. On top of that, there are removal expenses, two years” free rent and redundancy compensation. Many of the settlers are already beneficiaries of government subsidies for settling the land.

As soon as they announced the pullout in 2004 5,000 Israelis moved to Gaza. They wanted the buy out money.

The reason for the pullout was Israeli parents of IDF soldiers. It was stupid to have 20,000 soldiers guarding 5000 Jews and they complained.

All of Israel's war, with the possible exception of the 1956 Sinai campaign were defensive wars in which Israel was fighting against Arab attempts to destroy Israel. All wars produce civilian casualties and displaced persons. If the Arabs loved their children more than they hated Jews, they wouldn't have started these wars.

This is the revocation of that resolution
United Nations General Assembly Resolution 46/86, adopted on 16 December 1991
keep up with the news.

Should the State of Israel recognize "Israeli" as a nationality rather than defining citizens as Jewish, Arab, and Druze? IDI Vice President Prof. Yedidia Stern and Jay Ruderman assert that it is imperative for the State of Israel to continue distinguishing between citizenship and nationality.
