Zelenskyy, With EU Support, Continues Looking for Any Excuse to Derail or Avoid Peace Talks

"Zelenskyy, With EU Support, Continues Looking for Any Excuse to Derail or Avoid Peace Talks – Rejects Mineral Deal, Demands EU Ascension and Security Guarantees

March 30, 2025 | Sundance |

The dynamic is obvious to any intellectually honest observer, which is to say U.S. and Western media disqualify themselves and continue pushing preferred EU narratives.
Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky has rejected the latest U.S. proposal for a minerals deal that would create a partnership to repay the United States for ongoing financial support. According to Zelenskyy, the deal to share in oil, gas and mineral revenue would amount to debt that would disqualify them from EU membership due to unstable financials.

However, it is important for U.S. readers to remember the U.S. aid package already underway pays for the entire operation of the Ukraine federal spending liabilities, including pensions, government worker paychecks and everything normally within a govt budget. U.S. taxpayers are not only subsidizing the war with munitions, but we are also subsidizing the government operation and citizens of Ukraine. Within that spending there is MASSIVE corruption ongoing."

Trump is going to have to take Z Man to the woodshed. Let the EU pay for all of this.
I think Trump and Rubio are just about to call it on this situation. If Z can get enough support from the EU, that's up to them. But it's time for the U.S. to leave it to Z and the EU, IMO.

You give a weak man's answer. Russia will leave all of Ukraine.

Let the EU fund Europe's war.

Well as far as the UK Government goes they have been spending our money on those gangsters in Kiev like water while the people here suffer, £3billion a year forever.

The UK is heading for chaos at best.

What happened inside Ukraine is none of Russia's business,
Look at you! Suddenly you're the nation's home defense attorney! Are you sure you're an American citizen at all? Because if you're not a hypocrite, you should be sitting silently under a rock, when it comes to talking about meddling in other countries' affairs.

Stop alibiing the Russians.

What happened inside Ukraine is none of Russia's business, much less grounds for an armed invasion.
And what happened inside Cuba back in 1962 was non of US busness, right? Its not right, because if US decision-makers thought that way in 1962, in 1963 the USA wouldn't exist at all. And no, even from formal point of view, Russia have right to recognise independence of Crimea, DPR, LPR or any other region.

Russia has done and continues to do far worse to its citizens.
First - its none of your business. Second - you are simply wrong.

Russia has the right to invade other countries that are not threatening them?

Yes, of course. Why not? There is only one "international law" now, after US aggresions agaisnt Serbia and Iraq - "might is right".

But exactly now it's not the case - Ukraine attacked Russian allies - DPR and LPR, so it was equal to attack against Russian Federation itself. So, it's pure self-defense.

Ukraine counterattacked anti-Ukranian terrorists in DPR and LPR.

That will continue and so will the war.
