Zelensky Now Willing To Sign Mineral Deal With Trump & Seek Peace

So, apparently, Zelensky wants to get past the bad Oval Office meeting, sign a mineral deal with Trump, and has a willingness to find peace. Are our democrat friends on here willing to do the same or do they think Zelensky is bending over to Trump and would rather have Zelensky tell Trump to go take a flying leap? If Zelensky is willing to get past the bad oval office meeting, are democrats willing to get past it?

Zelensky definitely needed some hard pushing, which Trump gave him last night by pausing military aid.

When Z said it will be a very long time before the war ends, he had his own interests in mind.

He knows that if there is peace, he will have to hold elections.

And he will certainly be voted out. Thus, his resistance.

Zelensky always has been willing as long as Trump, who now is willing, to guarantee U's safety. Win Win.

You aren't up with the program. Trump is NOT guaranteeing Ukraine's safety. Ukraine is not a member of NATO and never will be, therefore there is no guarantee of safety. However, just as before the kerfuffle, Trump was trying to convince Zelensky that if a peace deal and mineral deal is signed, US companines and mining personnel would go to Ukraine and that alone would make Russia think twice about another such incursion in the future. That's the same thing as before when Zelensky got his panties in a wad and went back home.

I like that Trump showed Zelensky, and the world, that America is a strong country and is not to be pushed around - ESPECIALLY by a country that has received $200 billion in aid and is depending on more.
