The way he describes the story of the USS Indianapolis is still chilling after all these years.

Anyway......“Here’s to swimmin’ with bow legged women!” ;)

You want to hear something even more sad?

On the way back the Indianapolis was returning men that had survived the hell of the Bataan Death March and time in the hellish Jap prisoner of war camp.

That is one of my all time favorite scenes in a movie. I've seen jaws 20 times and everytime I watch that scene I just watch it. I don't think about other stuff, I'm not doing something else, I just and quietly pay very close attention. I am more drawn in then I am the rest of the movie.

Then again, I love movies with a moment where someone tells a good story and tells it well. Kind of like the opening of the fog.

Robert Shaw was in one of the Great hand to hand Fight scenes ( Inside a sleeper of a Train Car vs James Bond ) , He Was the briefly the Boyfriend of my Daughters Grandmother Gail Fisher ( Mannix )
