My LG G4 suffered a catastrophic systems failure last week from which there was no recovery. Sprint replaced it (it was fortunately still under warranty), after informing me it was a "known issue". Luckily, I had recently saved the majority of my irreplaceable content to my laptop, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been, but had I known in advance, there are some other files I likely would have backed up.
Moral of the story...back up your phone content often...especially if you have an LG G4.
