No it is your lack of scientific critical thinking ability that is hindering you as I made a clear statement people chose to live in a notorious high storm region of the ocean where it is always warm enough for strong tropical/hurricane storm development.
Not quite "always", but damned near.
Hurricane Season lasts from the start of June to the end of November. But those storms do not only occur during those months, that is simply when it is most likely.
The earliest in recent history was actually in 2016 when Hurricane Alex formed. Unusual, but certainly not unheard of as it was the forth hurricane to form in January in 150 years at that time.
And in 2005 Hurricane Zeta literally formed on 30 December.

But it literally is true that named storms in the past 170 years have formed in every month on the calendar. 95 of them in the last 170 years.
And I have lived for many years right in Hurricane Country and experienced many of them. Hugo, Ivan, and Katrina are just the worst but far from the only ones. There is a reason I am much happier living under threat of a massive earthquake than I am a hurricane. And even for all the years I lived in that area of the country, I can't understand why people willingly live there.
