I voted for Perot twice, shook hands with him at a rally in Phoenix....his hand felt like grabbing a saddle horn....he's a billionaire who still works his ranch. A great man, a good man, and the author of Newt's "contract with America". BTW, when the USA abandoned Subic Bay and Clark Air Field in the Philippines, Perot bought new leases on both. He knows we'll have another war in the south Pacific one day and need those bases.

Ross Perot would have been a better POTUS than Trump because he was a far better businessman than Trump. Perot did not start off rich, did not get handed his grandma's company and did not have to turn his company into a Holding Company to finally start to succeed. He has a far better understand of economic issues and he does not have the temperament of a 3rd grader.

He also served in the Military which I think is a plus for any commander in chief.

He is also a faithful husband and father, another trait that serves a man well.

When Perot became GM's largest stockholder he told the Board he wanted them to produce ONE thing that was the best in the world.....maybe a windshield wiper blade...anything. The Board looked at each other and him like he was crazy. He wouldn't eat lunch with them....he went down on one of the factory floors and ate with the line workers. Other suits might have caught a stray wrench in the head doing that...Perot wasn't afraid of those guys and they took to him straight away. GM finally bought him out to get rid of him and we all know what happened to GM for decisions like that.

An opinion. BTW, what kind of businessman was Obama? Hillary? Bill Clinton? How many employees did any of them hire? How many payrolls did any of them meet? Trump was good enough to build several BILLION dollars in privately-earned wealth while creating jobs for countless people, which puts him about 20 light-years ahead of any of the others mentioned.
