Oh there are way bigger ones that this list.

For instance if you've been married for at least --- I think it's seven? years --- you can start collecting on your spouse's work record, before, and without affecting, you collect your own benefits, and it doesn't affect the spouse's eventual benefits either.

Another --- friend of mine went to set up her benefits for later this year, waiting it out to increase the monthly rate ---- and happily she got a clerk who talked her into instead claiming them retroactively -- backdated a few months -- so she could get stoked in the present.
