Zone1 You didn’t choose your faith. It chose you.

You're wrong. North American Indians know of God, too.
He made this earth, retard, and they're pretty in tune with how things actually are.
Well then, you’d think there would have been like one church somewhere in the americas, or one or two instances of some prophet speaking the faith

But before Columbus and the Spaniards, there was nothing, nada, zilch.

There was only polytheistic and animist faiths that bore no resemblance whatsoever to the Abrahamic faiths

So you believe there is no choice in the matter? I disagree. Everything is choice.
It's all Free Will. You can make your choices, but the world works a certain way.
No one get away with anything, ever.

True, but the point of the analogy is that a "higher being" can care about a "lower being" without intervening in the lower being's life.
I've done quite a bit of nature photography myself. I guess I'm seeing it as the times I've taken and developed pictures, only to have something go wrong in the printing process and so I start over or do touch-ups. My creation is not the animal itself, but the picture.

leaver or bolt action only - 6 round maximum - non detachable magazine ... legal arms in america.

To be clear, you are threatening civil war, because you don't respect the outcome of the election, when CHRISTIANS won this round of the poliitcal process.

10 round detachable magazine and 30-caliber rifle bullets, boy! Woo!
Yeah, it's bolt action. Guarantee you do not wanna catch none of that.
Teh ammo kinda has a delayed fire. :terror:
It is from a long time ago.

When Europeans came to the western hemisphere, they didn’t find a single person who had been touched by God, prophesied to by God, or even heard of God.

To any thinking person this raises some serious doubts.

Why didn’t God ever try to reveal his presence to HALF the planet for 99.999999% of human history? Does that make any sense at all?
Ancient populations held beliefs in the supernatural and the divine, so it appears God was revealing his presence. It appears God made himself known. The same is true for the majority of populations today. Perhaps the better question is, why do some doubt? The answer to that question may well be that people have their own ideas of what they want in a God--and God disappoints them in that regard.

Another question I ponder is why people have such difficulty in seeking and finding God. As I began this process as a very small child, I think where a child may have an advantage is that all I wanted from God was to meet him and to know what he was like. I didn't want anything else from God, so it didn't occur to me to want to test him in some way.

Knowledge in all other areas grown since ancient times, so it shouldn't be a surprise to find growth occurring in religion as well.

Ok let's try another analogy. Forgive me if I'm repeating myself. Let's look at God as the ultimate scientist with an infinite number of "experiments" in progress. One of them is Earth and all of the various life forms on it. Like any good scientist, he does not interfere with his experiments. He creates the initial conditions and allows them to run and he just observes.

Haven't we caught God actually caring about us?

15th post
I grew up in a Southern Baptist family.
My mother was a church hopper. A different church every 6 months.

I saw the lies, backstabbing, frauds, narcissists, criminals, bigots, and haters for who they really were.
These "adults" thought kids didn't matter and were stupid, so when they were "alone" with another adult, we kids were just completely ignored. So we were privy to all the hate, lies, gossip, and backstabbing these "Christians" did to each other.

I CHOSE NOT TO BE A PART OF THIS ORGANIZED, NARCISSISTIC CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION.
I don't need that crap in my life!!!

Many communities are built around their faith

Fundamentalist Christians, Amish, Orthodox Jews, Scientologists, Mormons

Choosing to challenge your faith will get you shunned, kicked out from your family
Always?
