But if somebody asks, to say anything differently than the truth that you know is not love. Especially if that truth is what Christ said. I can't help what Christ said. If there is an issue about it, the issue is with Christ, not me, He's the One who talked about hell more than He talked about heaven.

I think that the correct answer that should come from a Christian would be: "I love you neighbor. I love you no matter what you believe. I hope that you take that which you believe in and do good with it: help others, help the community, raise a good and loving family. I respect you. I respect your beliefs. I will work together with you to make our neighborhood and community the best place it can be."

I would hope that I would not hear: "Neighbor. I will pray for you in hopes that you will be saved."

Xotoxi, I DO respect your beliefs. and I would say I love you but I think you would be offended if I said "I love you in Christ" but if I just say "I love you" that's a whole different thing...to me, to love in Christ is a brotherly thing so....

And you know what? I can't comment on the rest of it because you've already said it upsets you and it's not my cause to upset you. Oh, one thing before I go, I can't understand how that man can make that hideous claim. God loves all of us, we're all sinners, every last one of us has sinned at some point. The Bible said even as we sinned He died for us. God hates sin but not the sinner so I don't know how that man can say such things.
