Wrong as usual drunky. No court order, no proof of any crime, no right to those records. Epic fail, as usual...

No I posted 4 links to what trump did and you had absolutely no problem with trump doing it.

Why am I not surprised you're trying to change the subject?

You are nothing but a coward.
No, you’re the coward you pig. Obozo illegally spied on Trump, and had his cronies watching Senators, SCOTUS justices, reporters, the list goes on you Nazi ignoramus. Now shut up.

Interesting. I wonder why they would be worried about such a thing. It was just a tour that got a little rowdy!

Any guesses?

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) have warned telecommunications companies against sharing information with the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) joined House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) in threatening telecommunications companies that comply with a records request from the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday. Greene is pictured after a press conference outside the Capitol in Washington, D.C. on August 23, 2021.

McCarthy and Greene on Tuesday both suggested that the companies would face repercussions for complying with the committee's request for data once Republicans are in control of the government. The committee asked 35 telecommunications and social media companies to supply it with the records on Monday.

Some of the requested records pertain to Greene and other Republican members of Congress who were involved in the January 6 "Stop the Steal" rally supporting former President Donald Trump's false claims that he "won" the 2020 election, according to CNN. Shortly after the rally, the Capitol was breached by rioters who claimed that Trump was a victim of election fraud.
You should be worried, too.

McCarthy is warning the telecom companies that, if the GOP gets Congress back, it's going after them. MTG says "we'll shut 'em down".

We're in all new territory now.
Such pearl clutching as Mac lies again. McCarthy said they would be held accountable for any laws they break. As they should be.

trump did.

While he was president. Only unlike the democrats, trump did it in secret.

He got Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell's phone records secretly.

There's an inspector general investigation into it now.

trump did much worse than just ask companies to retain records. Which is all the democrats have done thus far. That's it. All the democrats have done is ask those companies to retain records.

trump went much farther. He got phone records of those politicians and the records of many journalists. Mostly those at The NY Times and Washington Post. trump got the judge to issue a gag order so the phone companies couldn't alert their customers that it was being done.

The only reason why we know about this is because the gag order lapsed so the phone companies alerted their customers about trump getting their phone records. If that gag order had not expired, none of this would have been known.

You had absolutely no problem with trump doing this and doing it in secret.

Yet you have a problem with democrats publicly asking phone companies to retain records.

You are nothing but a hypocrite.

Keep dodging Obozo’s even worse acts dimbulb.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but the American people want to know WTF happened on 1/6. We know at this point that McCarthy has lied about his phone calls with Trump, Jordon has lied about his phone calls with Trump, and we need to know what coordination went on between Q-Kooks like Greene & Boebert with Proud Boys, Q-Kooks and militia goons.

In the latest Economist/YouGov poll, the public supports such an investigation by nearly two to one (56% approve, 30% disapprove). One in four Republicans (28%) supports that commission, as do four in five Democrats (84%) and half of Independents (51%).
You really keep your head firmly planted in your ass don’t you?

I suppose you think this troll tactic is somehow fresh or effective. Son, a lot happened on this planet before your balls dropped. Maybe nobody told you.

What legal justification is there for forcing citizens from turning over there personal information?
you really need to ask that question? come on, get with it

you really need to ask that question? come on, get with it

Obviously you don't know.

They arent being forced. The telecomm companies are going to be asked to turn over phone records. The legal justification is the oversight function of Congress.
Oversight doesn't allow politicians to violate your 4th Amendment rights.

They are using force to obtain your records. End of story.
