Times change, with new information on the NOVEL virus...and with these new variations developing that are 7 times more contagious...

Bottom line, we all need N95 masks, the govt should supply them for us.
Why should the Gov't do anything except allow us to live and take risks if we want to? I had COVID, it didn't kill me. Didn't kill my wife or my kids. 99% of the people survive it just fine. Protect the vulnerable. Allow the rest of us to live. Life is short, I don't want to live it indoors like a scared little loser.

It's weird that you guys don't get how the response to COVID is going to change as new information is gained.
It's weird how you guys have bitched and moaned since Jan that Trump didn't know exactly what to do from day one.
He didn't.

....and yet you are here defending the latest flip-flop from the "foremost expert on controlling a virus"
Double masking isn't new. It's not even a "flip flop".
Link us up to Fauci telling us to wear 2 masks from the beginning.

GO!
He didn't. First he said wearing a mask wasn't necessary because we didn't at the time know that asymptomatic and pre symptomatic people were shedding the virus. So, we were told if you don't feel well stay home. Also, we wanted to insure that healthcare workers would not run out of masks because the public bought them all up.

Then we found out differently and Fauci, the CDC and the rest of the world's healthcare organizations stated for people to wear masks when not able to social distance.

For double masking he was asked the question and he said it's a good idea. To my knowledge no policies have been changed and even if they are, so what?
He didn't.

So you admit this is another Fauci flip-flop.
I just explained to you why the change in policy. Apparently you don't allow yourself to debate the topic you just repeat yourself.

No we didn't. We bitched and moaned because Trump rejected Dr. Faucci's advice from the get go and did things that went against science. When you look at other countries which did follow the scientists - New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Germany for example - all had better outcomes, not just with the disease, but with their economies as well.

There is absolutely no defence for the manner in which Donald Trump mishandled the pandemic, from his early denials of the problem, to his failure to do anything in regards to the crisis after the election, while he focused on trying to overturn the results.

Trying to blame Faucci for Trump's clusterfuck is a dog that just won't hunt.
We bitched and moaned because Trump rejected Dr. Faucci's advice from the get go and did things that went against science.

What did Trump reject? Be specific and bring links.

This is where you try to cover your lies with "google it".
Testing & Contact Tracing

Trump didn't want to test because that would make the numbers look worse. Fauci wanted more testing to understand the extent of the virus.

When we found out how and to what extent the virus spreads Fauci and others were for masks. Trump held out, his own townhalls were mask free.

Hydroxychloroquine

It was proven to be less than helpful. Trump wouldn't shut up about it, Fauci knew, after testing that it didn't work. As is noted in this study:

It hasn't gone unnoticed that you haven't provided shit for your argument other than repeating yourself.

If we had our own national supply of medical grade N95 masks the infection and death rate would be a lot lower....but Obama and Biden allowed all of our medical supply manufacturing to move to China after Obamacare placed outrageous taxes on those companies....
They all left and went into the open arms of the Red menace...and China refused to sell us masks in a timely fashion...all while Americans died needlessly....now Biden will reinstate those taxes ensuring those companies will remain abroad....

Trump said the virus would go away in April and now he blames the bad economy for it. Did he flip flop?

Your narrative is wrong...Trump said it could go away...talking from experience from other viruses.....and he never blamed the virus for a bad economy...number 1 the economy is not that bad when you consider all of the covid shutdowns....and everyone knows the economy would be setting records today if not for Chinas attack on our nation.....

Funding for stockpiling of medical supplies is a debate that happens in Congress.

How Tea Party Budget Battles Left the National Emergency Medical Stockpile Unprepared for Coronavirus
Fiscal restraints imposed by Republicans in Congress in the early years of the Obama administration left the U.S. less prepared to respond to the coronavirus pandemic today.

Dire shortages of vital medical equipment in the Strategic National Stockpile that are now hampering the coronavirus response trace back to the budget wars of the Obama years, when congressional Republicans elected on the Tea Party wave forced the White House to accept sweeping cuts to federal spending.

Among the victims of those partisan fights was the effort to keep adequate supplies of masks, ventilators, pharmaceuticals and other medical equipment on hand to respond to a public health crisis. Lawmakers in both parties raised the specter of shortchanging future disaster response even as they voted to approve the cuts.

However if you're insist on blaming the White House. Trump was in office for 3 years and didn't do anything. He was slow to react to procuring supplies as well. Forcing states to go out and bid against other states for large supplies of PPE. Once the federal government did act they started bidding against other states thus making the problem worse.

Nobody thought it would. Wishful thinking and he was wrong. Like he usually was. (Was - past tense, like that?)

The N95 masks are the only ones that work...the CDC and Fauci has said that cotton will not work...but then the dems and lovers of China realized that China had all of the N95 masks because they sent those jobs to China...so when China wouldn't sell us any back they had to switch their message to cotton was ok to use...all of a sudden there were thousands of cotton masks on the shelves and patterns on line to make your own useless mask....
How many times does it have to be explained to you idiots? Masks protect other people from YOU, unless you are wearing your vaunted N95, which protects you.

Anyone who still believes there is CV19 in the US is a certifiable sub human invalid.
Hey shit for brains, my daughter recently had it. She still has breathing difficulty. Now, go climb back under that rock from whence you slithered.
