Yes, You Did!

Seriously, Kath. This passive-aggressive approach you seem to be taking against Obama is unbecoming for you. You're doing the same thing you've spent the last 8 years railing the liberals for. I would think someone of your character would be above all that bullshit.

Astute point.

with people like you and the rest on this board?
HELL NO
you have proven you are not worthy of it
hell, Obama has at least been more gracious than you assholes

ditto.

name me one con, other than Navy, who is deserving of decent treatment? ya'll are as nasty a bunch as I've seen. Hell right up to the minute he was announced the winner some were trying to prove he wasn't eligible to be president.

don't fall off that high horse of yours DC

Four years of denial, deflection and just plain BS from all the usual suspects ... ready, set ... GO!

One day one of you knuclkeheads will actually address a concern rather than just attack the poster and/or the article. How intellectually honest and novel would THAT be?

curious... would you have taken the high road had McCain won? be honest :eusa_whistle:

I can honestly say I would not have rubbed any liberal noses in their losses, I would not have said ever that you guys were "irrelevant".

If McCain had won I would probably be defending him against lame attacks by the left. Just as you are doing for thebrockguy.

You are the one who attacks posters in a profane fashion.

Sometimes we see ourselves in other people.

But do you agree with the point (irrespective of whether you think he's the best placed person to make it)?

:blahblah:

And sometimes, certain delusional knuckleheads project themselves onto others because they cannot fathom the idea that it's just them that earns; therefore, gets the treatment he deserves for being nothing but a blind partisan hack with nothing actually intelligent to to add to any discussion.

It's bad enough you have to live with being who you are. Why must you insist on trying to share and bring everyone else's IQ down 40 points to your level?

I think that's overstating it a bit.

I think.

Actually, the more I think about it.......

I support Israel's right to exist, but in almost every other area their policies (of which my grasp is shaky to say the least) piss me off.

EU Opinion Poll:Israel is World's Most Dangerous Nation

Jerusalem - Israelis have reacted angrily to a European Union poll in which most of those surveyed reportedly believe that Israel poses the greatest threat to world peace.

Almost 60% of the Europeans surveyed believe Israel is more dangerous than North Korea, Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan, according to the survey.

The BBC poll - Israel as Satan's bastard child

Israel also stands out for having the largest number of countries (23 of 27) viewing it negatively. Iran is regarded unfavourably in 21 countries, the United States and North Korea in 20.

"Countries that relate to the world primarily through soft power, like Japan, France, and the EU in general, tend to be viewed positively," he added.

The BBC poll coincides with a Gallup survey of Americans' attitudes toward Israel and the Palestinians, as detailed by Shmuel Rosner in his current blog. As he notes, the poll shows sympathy for the Palestinian side rebounding, reaching its highest level since 1989.

Poll: Israel, Iran, U.S. have most negative image

The survey for the British Broadcasting Corp.'s World Service asked more than 28,000 people to rate 12 countries — Britain, Canada, China, France, India, Iran, Israel, Japan, North Korea, Russia, the United States and Venezuela — as having a positive or negative influence on the world.

Israel was viewed negatively by 56 percent of respondents and positively by 17 percent; for Iran, the figures were 54 percent and 18 percent. The United States had the third-highest negative ranking, with 51 percent citing it as a bad influence and 30 percent as a good one. Next was North Korea, which was viewed negatively by 48 percent and positively by 19 percent.

I could go on .. and include articles from Israel that dmonstrate I am not overstating the obvious.

I support Israel's right to exist .. but I do not support Israel's right to mimic the Nazi's nor do I support Israel's right to dictate policy to the United States.

The second and third are comments on the same poll, but it makes fascinating reading. Thanks for posting.

...off the top of my head....

I think it is easier for either side to see the vocal MINORITY being snarky than the majority who don't have time for that silliness.

But I would have thought that having survived eight years of the worst president in history, the left would be a little more compassionate to the fear and dread and nausea that the right is under at the moment. They think Obama is a socialist secret muslim and his wife wants to get whitey. They think there was a coverup about Ayers, about his birth certificate, about a lot of other stuff.

They think the left is completely stupid for not seeing Obama's policies as untenable. THey think he is a liar.

If you turn it all around, it sounds a hell of a lot like what the left thought about Bush.

I would personally like it if we americans would not fight with ourselves about these things and if instead we worked together, but it's easy for me to say that because the guy I supported won. It is much harder for someone whose vote lost, to say that.

yet you have that silly "impeach Obama" avatar

Thank you brother, but I thought giving an Israeli perspective different than mine on the poll was a more honest way of making my point.

I could have also posted lots of articles, documents, and statements that demonstrate there is a large resistance to the policies of the Israeli government that exists within and outside of Israel .. they don't get much voice either. They're called "self-loathing jews."

Well, in my opinion lying to take a nation to war is an impeachable offense. Outing Plame would probably be up there too. Surveillance on US citizens within US borders wihout a warrant was a crime until they changed the rules after the fact.

And he talks stoopid. :D

who was convicted of "outing Plame" again?

surveillance is not a crime
and doesnt require a warrant, unless criminal prosecution is planned

Take Kath off that list and I'll concede the other two....

well the vocals ones are the ones who get the most attention, from both sides.

Speaking only for myself I didn't fear Bush and still don't. I didn't fear McCain either.

IF those on this board really believe the things in bold, then they are ignorant and deserve nothing but scorn IMO.

They think the left is completely stupid for not seeing Obama's policies as untenable. THey think he is a liar.

irrational and unproven. Yet they don't acknowledge that Bush policies really were bad for the country... makes perfect sense to me :cuckoo:

If you turn it all around, it sounds a hell of a lot like what the left thought about Bush.

and in 8 years if their fears are proven true so be it. Obama hasn't even been sworn into office and they are already proclaiming he's ruined the country. It's beyond ridiculous.

I would personally like it if we americans would not fight with ourselves about these things and if instead we worked together, but it's easy for me to say that because the guy I supported won. It is much harder for someone whose vote lost, to say that.

That would be ideal. But when one side has had control for at least 8 years and they shove us into the shitter and then turn a blind eye to the reality of what has happened it's hard to just turn the other cheek.

Private citizens don't really have much effect on policy so if we never get along so be it. What I care about is the government putting aside their petty differences and working together. I don't want to see another President hounded and hunted by the right just because they're pissed they lost.

OK then, we'll have to settle on lying to go to war and talking stoopid. :D

the point being, and you'd be hard pressed to prove otherwise, that the impeach obama groups are doing little beyond making a case that impeachment has no relevance on a president's fitness.

uh, no lying to go to war(you have to KNOW you are wrong before it becomes a lie), and as far as talking stupid, i have seen a few clips of Obama doing MUCH worse
