You do realize that DNA testing is more than just seaman? They test any blood transfer, hairs, and other fluids and such. If they were involved in beating the woman, there most certainly would have been some kind of transfer of some kind.

Most importantly here, just because someone has allegedly committed a crime they were not caught and punished for, doesn't mean it is okay that they are railroaded and convicted falsely and punished for a crime they didn't commit. That's not how the criminal justice and rights under the Constitution are supposed to work.

Even the jury members who were interviewed by media after the trial was over, said the confessions were not convincing. It was all the other physical evidence.
