Ask them how they feel about unions."Republicans are anti-worker."
Current events shows that to be a lie.

The US is the second biggest manufacturer in the world.Obama said something similar when Trump was in his first term.
All these establishment pukes are cheering for the collapse of America.
Personally I think they're being either paid or blackmailed into saying this stupidity.
They won’t. We are a culture built on and defined by consumerism, particularly cheap, plentiful, disposable consumerism. People are still complaining about the price of eggs.Employers will have to deal with their plants being unionized and paying much much higher wages than overseas. That's going to be the bottom line. People will have to adjust to paying much more for a product made here.
I believe that having things made in US again is good for the overall economy and it also gives Americans jobs. If it means prices will be higher, no problem. Americans just need to demand their employers pay higher wages, which means that the ultra-wealthy will have to pony up. So, workers get jobs, Americans get higher salaries, and the only ones who lose are the giga-billionaires. Why does this sound wonderful to me?They won’t. These Democrats do not want the American working class to recover EVER. They want everyone on the Democrat welfare state plantation.
Yeah, shit paying service sector jobs.Manufacturing began moving out 50 years ago.
Our economy adjusted. We now have 4 percent unemployment.
Americans are not going to leave their current jobs to work on an assembly line.
Kids don’t graduate hoping to work on an assembly line
Yeah, shit paying service sector jobs.
Typewriter manufacturers made 1911A1 pistols, and machineguns during WWII.Making toys, toasters, ear buds are national security?
If Trump wants to protect items needed for national security……place tariffs on those items
I think there is a tendency to look back at a golden age of traditional manufacturing and expect it to come back just like it was…but the world has moved on.I believe that having things made in US again is good for the overall economy and it also gives Americans jobs. Bullshit. Automation works for very specific tasks. You people have no clue how manufacturing works.I think there is a tendency to look back at a golden age of traditional manufacturing and expect it to come back just like it was…but the world has moved on.
A lot of job loss was due to automation, those jobs won’t come back. Americans need strong unions to demand higher pay and Republicans are ant-union. In addition, pensions and company sponsored health insurance are a thing of the past.
Let’s be realistic here…gigabillionaires never lose.
I do think some manufacturing should to be done here, and that would be in the high tech area. I think it’s feasible to offer incentives (rather than bludgeons) to shift it back here.
I said manufacturing, I didn't say traditional manufacturing. Maybe you should stop manufacturing (no pun intended) an argument and attribute it to me.I think there is a tendency to look back at a golden age of traditional manufacturing and expect it to come back just like it was…but the world has moved on.
I did not mention automation, not sure why you felt the need to bring it up. It doesn't matter how big of job loss automation causes, bringing manufacturing back from overseas will ALWAYS create more jobs for Americans, than leaving it abroad. Do you agree or disagree?A lot of job loss was due to automation, those jobs won’t come back.
Unions aren't the only way to protect workers. Where there is a will, there is a way. If we really want to protect American workers and to keep manufacturing at home, we can make such demands on our lawmakers.Americans need strong unions to demand higher pay and Republicans are ant-union. In addition, pensions and company sponsored health insurance are a thing of the past.
They never lose because we have people with defeatist attitudes like you among us.Let’s be realistic here…gigabillionaires never lose.
Offering incentives could definitely work. But I have other things in mind. Maybe we can compel companies to keep their businesses at home. I do this with a clear conscience because I believe the fate of the nation, and the future of Americans, are more important than the freedom/autonomy of private businesses.I do think some manufacturing should to be done here, and that would be in the high tech area. I think it’s feasible to offer incentives (rather than bludgeons) to shift it back here.

Trump makes a lot of noise but doesn't do a whole lot. He puts on a good show though so that people will think he cares about America (hint: he doesn't)I don't see how bringing back manufacturing to America isn't a worthy goal. Now faith in Trump's agenda in attaining that goal is a whole other matter.
If that is true the mid-terms will be a wipe-out. Trump knows that the clock is ticking. The best thing he has going for him is that we know democrats have no clue how to run anything, especially government.Trump makes a lot of noise but doesn't do a whole lot. He puts on a good show though so that people will think he cares about America (hint: he doesn't)
Welp.
As opposed to open borders and giving millions of migrants free food and free housing?I don't see how bringing back manufacturing to America isn't a worthy goal. Now faith in Trump's agenda in attaining that goal is a whole other matter.
