Wyoming's trade schools are packed with 'toolbelt generation' kids.

Don't put words in my mouth. Your suggestions for what to pay labor are sheer lunacy. I believe in paying an employee a fair wage for a fair days work. You believe that a high school kid who sweeps floors with no other skills is worth $30 an hour with seven weeks vacation, full medical, FMLA, and sick leave is stupidity. Wages are earned and provide incentive to improve your skills. We already have too many parasites sucking off the labors of others in addition to the damage to the economy that flooding the money supply with unearned dollars does. Your senility is getting worse.
So, a strawman argument.

That's worth $1.15/hr.

LOL, so they don't sweep the floors in your nursing home where the employees get paid minimum wage with no benefits eh? Tell me do you augment what those employees get paid out of your pocket? Assisted living places are notorious for their low wages and benefits.
maga expect people in assisted living to assist the company (free of charge) with the services they refuse to provide.

Those old people are such takers.

Really? What does one learn in College? Black Studies? Gender Studies? PPFFFFFTTTTT! Ebonics? CRT? Marxist Economy?
Yeah, who needs to learn how to critically think and study when one can just google how to be a heart surgeon.

Hopefully, the college scam is breaking and will soon be over.

Funny, too, the Feds were right in the middle of this as they are so many wrong-headed policies.

This makes so much more sense as opposed to an entitled 18 year old grabbing 6 figures from the taxpayer to go major in some bullshit field for which there is no market for them to pay back the loan.

I would suggest you call one Admiral

The electrician doesn't get paid that much. The owner of the company does,

Do you know how to save money? Get an electrician to come out for s service call and then hire the electrician to do what you really need on his off time from the company. The same for plumbers!

I do 99% on my electrical work myself if it is not code related.

electricians and plumbers get roughly 1/3 of what the company charges, and moonlighting is generally frowned on but does happen. (guilty as charged Admiral) ;)

that said i built my farm frame to finish because no bank would lend me a dime, and could do so sans permits, inspections and occupancy permits in what is a somewhat libertopian state.

so you see bureaucracy dictates trade value to a degree......~S~

So you don't want to pay labor. I understand. Give the money to the wealthy right?
You can’t just pay everyone whatever they want for every job

The Soviet Union tried paying street sweepers and doctors nearly the same salary. How did that work out for them?

What is the point you’re trying to make here?

There are many services assisted living does not provide it’s residents

The whole point of assisted living (vs a skilled nursing facility) is that the people living there don’t need certain services. They must have some degree of independence in their own care in order to qualify.

If you require around the clock incontinence care… you need skilled nursing. If you need a mechanical lift to transfer out of bed…. you need skilled nursing. If you have a tube feed or a trach or wound care… you need skilled nursing.

Assisted living facilities don’t even require a licensed nurse to be on staff.

So everyone is qualified to be a surgeon? However , I find the "College Requirements" to be a piece of shit. Why would a Surgeon need to take Physics? English Lit? History? On the other hand ,why would a Writer need Biology? Chemistry? People should specialize right out of High School. Probably save $280,000. And become productive 4 years earlier. I see no need for a "Liberal Education". And Skilled trades need no College at all. Also ,all "Social" courses are a fuckin' waste of time.

I don’t think you understand medical school.

First, physics is absolutely beneficial. Doctors need a firm grasp of the physics of blood flow, muscle contractions, gas exchange. Physics is hard science

As for the liberal arts degrees, those are not part of the med school curriculum, but a bachelor’s in something is required before one can start med school. Almost all bachelor degrees have some liberal arts classes at some point

If they start our at $50 per hour plus 7 weeks paid vacation that's s good start.

I made about $35 an hour as a teacher with a Master's degree and 20 years of experience. I got paid for far less hours than I actually worked.

No electrician is worth that much, much less $50. Like I said, your hamster committed suicide and is dead.
My son is a plumber and his pay is 50 bucks an hour. Today. Right now.

Why? Liberal Arts is a waste.

I believe your early education is provided in different areas to teach you how to think. The specifics come later.
