I'm not sure what took them so long to figure it out. The party went batshit crazy years ago. One could write hours and hours of text showing this. But glad they finally have caught on.

What does it imply about the political vulnerabilities of Donald Trump that some of his wing men are saying he might lose the 2024 election because of Taylor Swift? ...
One internet pundit has posted a video, with hundreds of thousands of views, claiming that Ms. Swift’s relationship with Mr. Kelce is a fake “psyop.” This yarn involves the CIA, because of course, as well as George Soros, because of course. The story is that the Super Bowl on Feb. 11 will be rigged so that the Chiefs win in a dramatic fashion. Ms. Swift and Mr. Kelce will get engaged. That way they’ll be at peak influence to cut a joint October ad for Mr. Biden.
This is either lunacy or it’s theater. Our guess is the latter. Many of its purveyors well know they’re putting on an act, but there’s fame and notoriety and money to be had from spinning conspiracy theories, the crazier the better.
Yet the paranoia on the right about a romance between the most popular singer in the world and an NFL player does make Republicans seem, frankly, weird. ...
A question, though, for the trolls: If they believe defeating Mr. Trump is so easy that Mr. Biden can do it merely by getting an endorsement from a singer who backed him in 2020, doesn’t that suggest the GOP might be making a mistake by nominating such a weak candidate?

The Democrat Party that likes to fuck kids, can't define what a woman is, supports mutilating confused (by them) children, uses LAWFARE against political rivals, stole an election, supported (FORCED) economic shut-downs over the sniffles, and on and on and on and on is telling the rest of the country that we're the "weird" ones?????

The Jew haters are snowflakes it seems.

No doubt one of the best things about being MAGA is that, if anything goes against you, it was a conspiracy, it was rigged, and you're the victim.

Waiting on the "Taylor Swift is an FBI psy-op, working with China and George Soros" story.

...and then there's Maud.

Trump and Taylor seem to be getting along just fine.

There has been a fundamental shift between the parties over the past decade or so...

--------

To Americans of "middle age" or beyond, in times past, the understanding has always been...

(1) the Republican Party is the party of corporatism and conservatism

(2) the Democratic Party is the party of the Working Man oddly paired with educational elitism

--------

But with the passing of the last decade or so, the New Reality is more like...

(a) the Republican Party is the party of the Working Man oddly paired with residual fragments of conservatism

(b) the Democratic Party is the party of aggrieved minority activism and sexual deviants paired with educational elitism

...with Independents, Centrists and Corporatists wandering-about betwixt the two, some going one way, some another.

--------

The Republican Party began life as the Party of the Working Man but sold out to corporatists way back in the WWI era.

It has taken the better part of a century for it to shake off those corporatists and to begin to return to its populist roots.

Whereas the Democratic Party has begun showing strong signs of returning to its elitist race-baiting roots.

Worse still, the Democratic Party seems intent on making political enemies of White Folk and Straight Folk in an increasingly strained attempt to maintain its hold on power. Perhaps there's a clue in the flood of Illegal Aliens that they've allowed in.

The transition is not yet complete on either side of the aisle but the trends have become glaringly obvious for all to see.

-----------

Today's Republican Party is fast leaving Corporatism in the rear view mirror, so of course the WSJ is becoming disaffected.

On reflection, it's no surprise that WSJ op-end writers would find today's situation to be "weird" to their way of thinking.

Interesting times.

I wish I knew who it was but I was skipping through the radio yesterday when I landed on some woman on her radio program. She was speaking from the right. She was saying how the Republicans were blowing it. She mentioned how Taylor Swift had got people to register to vote. How it was that even she understood the entire situation. That before Taylor Swift got involved in football that she didn't even know how you actually pronounced Jayson Kelce's last name.

She went on to note what the Republicans were doing to counter this and she noted that they were creating stupid rap video's and coming up with stupid conspiracy theories.

She noted how Taylor Swift will get people to register but crazy conspiracy theories were never going to do that.

Just anecdotally I've seen quite a few women getting upset at the attacks on Taylor Swift and these aren't hard core Democrat women.

A man can have all the girlfriends in the world and even cheat on his wives and all is fine but if Swift has more than one boyfriend that gives them the right to call her the names they've been calling her? This is not going to go over well.

A woman who is very rich and has power when she speaks being condemned for that? Again, not going over very well.
