Wrestling -What I'd like to see.

Sorry to be an ass, but no shit. And they know it but still do it. And would do it again. Because what is the alternative? What jobs would any of these people have if not for wrestling? If they could have went pro they would have. Many of the women in WWE look like they would be strippers or prostitutes if they weren't in WWE. Their pics online especially when they were younger look like it could have went that way. How much do strippers make?

So don't give me that shit. Maybe save your money and don't do it too long. Maybe take a break when you get a concussion. I've seen the documentaries. This is the life they chose. Like Goodfellas. They know it's harmful, dangerous, but damn it, they don't want to go to school or swing a hammer. So boo hoo.

And of course they aren't EMPLOYEES of WWE. WWE contracts wrestlers. You may have a contract, but you are not an employee who can get workmans comp. You have to have your own insurance. So of course they cry when they choose not to have insurance because they are young and healthy and then they get an expensive bill. Then they want Vince to pay it?
That's no excuse.

You'd be arguing that nothing should be done about the high incidence of black lung and cave-ins in the coal industry and that the employer has no responsibility to ensure the health and well-being of their employees.

"They knew what they were getting into" and "what else would they be doing for a living" are bullshit excuses for abuse and neglect.

Agreed. The WWE makes billions. They need to take better care of the people who make the money for them.

Most of the wrestlers were doing it for $100 before WWE hired them. Now they make $300,000 a year. What more do you want WWE to give them? But they are private contractors. They have to buy their own insurance. If they get hurt, they are on their own. WWE can't afford to insure everyone. If you don't want to do it, don't.

We can also ban any moves that can hurt your head, neck, back, spine, what else?

If I were on the jury, WWE would not lose this case in court. I'd side with the WWE.

And how much if a person suffers a career ending injury? How much do you think WWE should pay for each person? Just curious. I'm asking both of you.
