Wrestling -What I'd like to see.

That's what helps MEN decide to push forward.
Well good thing I was only 17 at the time. When I went off to college I was still 17. I believe I went off to school in September and I wasn't 18 till late November. Just a baby. I'm sure I already quit by then.

On Tuesday's we didn't wrestle. We just did some sport together. One Tuesday it was touch football but you know it was rough touch football. Again, because I was a beast AND skipping morning runs, the juniors and seniors also picked on me. The one guy who was considered a bad ass senior said "give Sealybobo the ball". I was running back he was playing linebacker. I said to the QB in the huddle, give me the ball. So he pitched it to me and I ran into him so hard he lost his wind. You know where you go AUUGGGH AUUGGGH I CAN'T BREATE and slowly you regain your breath? That's what happened to him. I stood over him caringly asking if he was alright. He said "Good hit sealybobo" and they all stopped picking on me after that.

I'd like to see a group of WWE wrestlers in every weight class (male and female) stripped of their face paint, capes, colorful clothing, and other nonsense - given standard NCAA wrestling uniforms and deposited at Penn State, Iowa, or Oklahoma State to face the best college wrestlers under NCAA rules. - - - No turnbuckles to jump off, no ropes to tie people in, no fake head smashes, no brainless bimbo's dancing around, no stupid speeches. Just 1 on 1.

- and let's see just how good these "professionals" really are!
This would be like asking John Wayne to leave the set of The Green Beret and take on some real Viet Cong soldiers.

The WWE is about story lines. It's about drawing heat. Its about faces and heels.

It's a multi-episode soap opera for boys.

And in the end, its about merchandizing

Anyways, can you imagine the WWE training regiment? It's all about looking good. And I'm sure the guys who are known for long matches do cardio. Or they are just in great shape to do a 60 minute match.
An astounding number never reach the age of 50. Many have died before the age of 40.

They are NOT in great shape.

Sorry to be an ass, but no shit. And they know it but still do it. And would do it again. Because what is the alternative? What jobs would any of these people have if not for wrestling? If they could have went pro they would have. Many of the women in WWE look like they would be strippers or prostitutes if they weren't in WWE. Their pics online especially when they were younger look like it could have went that way. How much do strippers make?

So don't give me that shit. Maybe save your money and don't do it too long. Maybe take a break when you get a concussion. I've seen the documentaries. This is the life they chose. Like Goodfellas. They know it's harmful, dangerous, but damn it, they don't want to go to school or swing a hammer. So boo hoo.

And of course they aren't EMPLOYEES of WWE. WWE contracts wrestlers. You may have a contract, but you are not an employee who can get workmans comp. You have to have your own insurance. So of course they cry when they choose not to have insurance because they are young and healthy and then they get an expensive bill. Then they want Vince to pay it?

What would Asuka have done if not for wrestling?

Some actual wrestling would be good.
