How’d we go from 250,000 Federal employees under Clinton to 3 million today?
Divide the savings in half, not just that from eliminating government non-workers but also the savings from getting back the money that Biden et al threw out (like $60 million on housing illegals in NY):
1) Return more to taxpayers
2) Pay down the debt
I live surrounded by government non-workers, and I am telling you they’ve been laughing and bragging about the scam for years.
I remember being on a long line to buy a movie ticket - early afternoon, mid-week - and there were at least 15 people ahead of me. I asked the man behind me if it was a government holiday, being unable to understand why there was such a crowd, and he said “no, we all work from home” - and then he laughed!
Oh, the stories I could tell. I know someone who told me she tried to get out of going down to the office her ONE assigned day per week by claiming at her age, it was too taxing to commute!

Finally. It took someone with guts like Trump to end the scam.
The next area Musk needs to look at is government employees retiring with a $100,000 pension, and then contracting back the same work at $400,000 a year. And then adding their wife in as “administrative support” for an additional $100,000.
People who don’t live around DC and hear these scammers brag have no idea what’s been going on.

Should we email in these suggestions, or are they on top of it? Do they know about the govt emoloyees “retiring,” taking their massive pension, and then contracting back to do the identical job at 4x the rate?
